Actress Ruth Kadiri has raised concerns over the circulation of fake products in Nigeria, warning that they could pose serious risks to consumers.

In a video, she urged Nigerians to pay attention to the products they buy, including food, drinks, medicines and cosmetics, and to check expiry dates and NAFDAC numbers before purchasing them.

Kadiri also called on people who know where fake products are being produced or sold to speak up, saying doing so could help prevent people from falling victim to harmful products.

She further urged authorities to strengthen inspections of manufacturing companies and ensure that those found producing or distributing fake products are punished.

Actress Damilola Adegbite has spoken about changing attitudes towards older women and dating.

She said society once made women feel that they should quietly leave the dating scene after reaching a certain age.

According to her, that perception is changing, with older women now attracting more attention and being viewed differently in the dating space.

“There was a time when society made older women feel like once you've crossed a certain age, you should basically leave the dating market quietly, but now the tables are turning,” she said.

“The older woman who was once overlooked has become the premium package,” she added.

Pastor Mrs Owolabi, wife of Pastor Juwon Owolabi of Lightlife Church International, has advised women in marriages to explore and exhibit prowess in sexual intimacy with their husband.

Speaking about s+xual intimacy during a “Marriage That Works” programme, she opined that women should understand and enjoy intimacy within marriage, stressing that s3x should not be viewed only as a means of having children.

“If you die without experiencing org@am, you’ve lived a wasted life,” she said. “God created s+x, God instituted s+x and as a woman you have the right to enjoy org@sm.”

Mummy Owolabi, who said she got married as a virgin and initially knew little about s+x beyond biology, explained that she later realised intimacy was something she needed to deliberately learn about.

“I knew that okay, I need to understand because this is a body of knowledge, this is like a university,” she said.

She encouraged married women to learn more about intimacy and added, “God is not against other styles in marriage.”

Her husband, Pastor Juwon Owolabi, also joined the discussion, arguing that intimacy should not diminish with age.

He referenced Abraham and his later marriage to Keturah, saying, “If you take care of yourself, the older you become, the better it should be.”

Comedian Julius Agwu broke down in tears after he recently recalled how his life took a different turn for him.

Julius used to be one of Nigeria’s most sought-after comedians back in the day. He made waves with his music-comedian track, Handwork, which he released in 2006 and his amazing comedy shows. Life took a different turn for him sometime in May 2015 when he had a seizure at home and that was the beginning of his battle with a brain ailment. He had a successful brain surgery in May 2016 and thankfully survived that trying time in his life.

A US-based Liberian man has called off his engagement after allegedly discovering that his fiancée was communicating romantically with several other men.

In a video circulating online, the man claimed he travelled from the United States to Liberia with plans to propose to his fiancée, only to discover messages on her phone that raised concerns about their relationship.

According to him, she was allegedly communicating with four different men, including two men he claimed she was actively involved with.

He also alleged that one of the men was married and had a child, despite his fiancée previously telling him that she did not want to be a side chick.

The man appeared visibly upset as he confronted the situation, repeatedly expressing disbelief and saying he felt embarrassed by what he had discovered.

He eventually stated that he no longer wanted to proceed with the engagement.

The veteran actor disclosed this while visiting his longtime friend and colleague, Emmanuel Armah, who is currently battling health issues.

Popular businesswoman Bo Hairs has recounted how armed robbers invaded her home at gunpoint in December last year and made away with cash, gold, luxury jewellery, watches and other valuables.

According to her, the incident happened while she was sleeping, when one of the robbers reportedly appeared behind her nanny and forced his way into her room.

She said the robber told her that the house had been surrounded and demanded her dollars, foreign currency and gold, threatening to harm her and her son if she refused to cooperate.

Bo Hairs said she handed over about $7,000 in cash, nearly ₦2 million, gold jewellery, luxury pieces and other valuables. She added that the robbers later found two Rolex watches belonging to her and her husband.

She said the entire ordeal lasted less than 10 minutes, but her main concern throughout was the safety of her son.

The businesswoman also expressed concerns about her nanny’s actions during the incident, saying she appeared to know more about the robbers’ movements than she initially realised.

Actress Nkechi Blessing has reacted to her recent bout with reality TV star Phyna, apologising to fans who lost money after ******* on her to win.

Speaking in a video, Nkechi said she had never been involved in a fight before the bout and described the experience as a new one for her.

She said the event also allowed her to see the people who supported her as well as those who mocked her online.

Nkechi thanked those who stood by her and apologised to those who placed bets on her but lost their money.

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has lampooned former Rivers State governor and African Democratic Congress (ADC) vice-presidential candidate, Rotimi Amaechi, over his claim that President Bola Tinubu’s economic policies contributed to the de@th of his mother.

Amaechi made the claim during an interview on Channels Television on Friday, October 2. He alleged that the policies of the Tinubu-led administration has spiked the cost of healthcare in Nigeria, which also affected his mother, who passed away in July.

Reacting to Amaechi’s remarks, Wike accused Amaechi of using his late mother’s de@thto play politics.

During the question-and-answer segment, an attendee referenced a previous interview Rhodes-Vivour conducted with Seun Okinbaloye on Channels Television, questioning the politician on his plans to protect indigenous heritage in Lagos.

Citing examples from nations like China and India, the questioner expressed concern that children in Lagos are increasingly losing fluency in their native tongue.

As Rhodes-Vivour began addressing the inquiry in English, members of the audience interrupted and protested, demanding that he respond in Yoruba.

After briefly calming the rowdy venue, the ADC candidate acknowledged that Lagos is unequivocally Yorubaland and emphasized that language serves as a crucial carrier of culture and heritage.

Shifting his focus to governance, Rhodes-Vivour criticized the current administration's educational policies, alleging that pupils in Lagos schools continue to face corporal punishment and penalties for speaking Yoruba under the label of "vernacular," despite over two decades of governance by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

A lady has narrated how a man who offered her a lift allegedly drove off with her phone after asking to use it to save his number.

According to her, the man complimented her and offered to give her a ride while she was returning from getting food, but she initially declined because she lived nearby.

She said the man then asked for her number, but she instead requested his number so she could flash him. The man reportedly asked to use her phone to save his number himself.

However, immediately after collecting the phone, he allegedly drove off with it, leaving her stranded and in tears.
