Actor Daniel Etim Effiong has questioned critics who object to his k!ssing scenes in movies, arguing that the nature of an act does not automatically make it good or ****.
Speaking in a video, the actor asked whether the same people would question a gynaecologist for examining female gen!t@ls as part of his profession.
“Would you ask this same question to a gynaecologist? Do you know who a gynaecologist is? Of course, a guy is a doctor, a medical doctor that saves lives and works with women and looks at the female gen!t@ls every day,” he said.
Daniel argued that a person’s intentions and condition of the heart should determine how an action is judged, rather than simply looking at the action itself.
Referencing the Bible, he said what comes from a person’s heart is more important than what is seen externally.
He added that even something as simple as looking at someone or shaking their hand could be used for **** purposes, arguing that such actions could be more harmful than k!ssing someone.
“There’s a condition of a man’s heart that judges what he does, that qualifies what he does, that makes it good or ****. It’s not what you see from the outside; it’s what the man is, the condition of his heart,” he said.

53-year-old Lagos resident, Nelly Monday, who was arrested in Meiran on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, for dumping refuse in the drains during the rain, has been convicted of the offence.
She was arraigned before the Magistrate Court sitting at Bolade, Oshodi, where she pleaded guilty to the offence and was sentenced to one month in prison.
LAWMA, in a statement released, warned residents against indiscriminate waste disposal, particularly dumping refuse in drainage channels and other unauthorised locations as such acts are environmental offences that attract sanctions under the law.
The Authority says it will continue to work with relevant enforcement agencies to identify and sanction environmental offenders across Lagos.

The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a 36-year-old lady identified as Anulika Onyeanusia, over an alleged case of using her minor to create explicit content in Onitsha, Anambra State.
The command, in a statement released, said it received a disturbing video of the suspect allegedly using a s#x toy on a min@r. The suspect is alleged to have used her daughter to make ad@lt cont%nt that generates her income online.
Confirming her arrest to newsmen, the command’s spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said the operation also led to the rescue of four children, aged 2, 3, 6 and 9 years respectively, as well as the recovery of s#x toys and other items relevant to the ongoing investigation.
Ikenga said the suspect is currently in police custody as the command intensifies its investigation into the circumstances surrounding the alleged offence and the possible involvement of other persons.
The police image-maker said the suspect’s husband is also being interrogated to determine whether he has any connection to the alleged offence.
Ikenga said the state Commissioner of Police, CP Nnanna Oji Ama, is deeply disturbed by the alleged act, describing it as unacceptable, particularly because it involves the exploitation and abuse of children who are incapable of protecting themselves. He has therefore directed a thorough and professional investigation while ensuring that the rescued children receive appropriate care and protection.
The suspect, however, claims the circulating videos are AI-generated.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has warned Nigerians against accepting consignments from relatives and friends abroad without knowing the full contents.
The spokesperson of the anti-drug agency, Femi Babafemi, gave the warning following an emerging trend of illicit drugs being concealed in consolidated cargoes.
In a post shared on X on Sunday, September 13, Babafemi said some Nigerians living abroad were allegedly sending consolidated cargoes containing illicit drugs, particularly strains of cannabis known as Colorado and Loud, to family members and friends in Nigeria.
According to him, unsuspecting recipients are being listed as consignees or recipients of the consignments, potentially exposing them to arrest and prosecution.
He urged Nigerians who are not involved in drug trafficking syndicates to avoid accepting consignments on behalf of people abroad, particularly where they are uncertain about the contents.
