Sharon Adeleke, sister of Nigerian singer Davido, has shared a list of reasons why people may not want to be friends with her, including being overly obsessed with her famous brother.

In a video shared online, Sharon said her experiences with friendships have made her more careful about who she allows into her circle.

She explained that it takes her a long time to consider someone a friend because she is “paranoid” about letting people into her personal world.

According to her, she does not allow people to wear outside shoes upstairs in her home and dislikes passive-aggressive behaviour.

She also said she would not go on a girls’ trip with someone who is not organised, explaining that she prefers to plan luxury trips well in advance.

Sharon added that she does not loan money to friends because of past experiences, saying that if she wants to give someone money, she would rather give it to them without expecting it back.

She also said she does not expect to be a friend’s only friend and enjoys spending time alone. She noted that she may forget a friend’s birthday or fail to post them on Instagram without considering it a serious issue.

The businesswoman said she also avoids disorganised outings, particularly in Lagos, because they can be expensive and stressful.

Addressing fans of her brother, Sharon said she has no problem with people being Davido fans, but drew the line at people who talk about him constantly.

“If I feel like you're too much of a Davido fan... when you want to talk about Davido all the time, we can't be friends,” she said.

She also listed cliques, possessiveness and entitlement as red flags in friendships, adding that she dislikes “famzing,” which she described as social climbing and forcing oneself into situations.

Sharon concluded by saying she was comfortable with people deciding that her approach to friendship was not for them.

Afrobeats star Davido has shown off two brand-new customized Ferrari cars reportedly worth more than $4 million combined.

The singer took to social media to flaunt the matching luxury rides, a Ferrari Roma and a Ferrari Purosangue, both customized by VENUUM Black.

Sharing photos of the cars, Davido simply captioned the post: “Stock is boring.”

The Ferrari Purosangue is one of the marque’s V12 models, while the Roma was among Ferrari’s recently phased-out models.

Poco Lee made the comments during a video conversation with social commentator VeryDarkMan, who shared the footage on Instagram on Sunday, September 13. The entertainer said his main concerns during the period were about his associates and business activities rather than the allegations themselves. “I was just being myself; God sees my heart. My only worries were about my people: Jago could not do anything business-wise; I didn’t want to stress anyone,” he said.

“If I were inside there and I did what I was accused of, I would have felt I was paying for my sins, but since I knew I didn’t do what I was accused of, my mind is pure. Nobody would have wanted to associate themselves with something like that, but Burna Boy stood by me, Jago, and some of my other guys.”

VeryDarkMan also expressed support for Poco Lee and questioned the circumstances surrounding reports about the entertainer’s situation in the UK. He also acknowledged the support shown to Poco Lee by singer Burna Boy and social media personality Rahman Jago.

The comments come amid conflicting reports online about the status of the criminal case against Poco Lee in the UK. Some reports claimed that he had been released from prison, while others suggested that the complainant had withdrawn from the case or that the matter had been settled out of court. However, the Crown Prosecution Service said the case remained active.

Responding to an inquiry from PUNCH Online on Saturday, the CPS Press Office confirmed that Odinaka was still scheduled to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15, 2026. “This case is still live, and Odinaka is still set to appear for a PTPH at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 15 September 2026,” the CPS said.

The hearing is a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing, a pre-trial proceeding dealing with a defendant’s plea and preparations for trial. The CPS did not state whether Odinaka was currently in custody or had been granted bail. Odinaka is facing five s3xual offence charges in the UK, comprising attempted r@pe, two counts of r@pe and two counts of assault by penetration.

The case reportedly followed his visit to the UK for the Davido and Friends concert at Crystal Palace Bowl in London on August 14. Snaresbrook Crown Court had earlier confirmed that his case was listed for a plea and trial preparation hearing on September 15.

The court also imposed a reporting restriction to protect the identity of the complainant under Section 1 of the S3xual Offences (Amendment) Act 1992. Poco Lee has denied committing the alleged offences.

British-Nigerian businessman and influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, also known as Denisi or Ego, has died after undergoing a penis enlargement procedure during a luxury trip to Thailand with his wife.

Igho, 43, reportedly had 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine injected into his penis at a clinic in Bangkok in March, according to an inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court.

After the procedure, he and his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, reportedly went for a massage, where he complained of chest pain and collapsed twice.

He was rushed to Sukhumvit Hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with a pulmonary embolism, a blood clot blocking an artery in the lungs.

Medics reportedly performed CPR for more than 100 minutes, but Igho died in the early hours of March 6.

A postmortem examination in the UK reportedly found cellular material in his lungs matching the hyaluronic acid used during the procedure.

Coroner Jean Harkin subsequently ruled that Igho died from a pulmonary embolism caused by the cosmetic procedure.

Igho, who had about 185,000 Instagram followers, was known for his lavish lifestyle. He was buried in London in a reported $745,000 gold coffin, with Nigerian stars including Davido and Cubana Chief Priest among those who attended his funeral.

Nigerian music star Davido has fired back at rapper Erigga following a post celebrating musicians who came from poor backgrounds and had to work their way to success.

Erigga had written, “Shoutout to all the musicians who don't come from family money and had to grind for every single dollar they earn.”

Davido, who has often faced criticism and conversations surrounding his wealthy family background, reacted strongly to the post.

“No be we say make your pops no guard o. Shoutout to the ones that came from family money and still grind to the top, imbecile,” Davido wrote.

He followed it up with another post, saying, “Comot here with that your useless motivation.”

The singer also questioned why anyone would prefer poverty, writing, “Deep down who like poverty?”

Davido later shared another post in which he appeared to dismiss the ongoing conversations around his music and wealth.

“No worry o I go soon leave their music for una. GO MAKE MY BILLIONS... then that **** gonna be boring.”

This comes weeks after the Edo state governor, Monday Okpebholo, took a swipe at his Oga, Davido’s uncle, Governor Adekola Adeleke.

The Osun state police command has said that singer Davido was the target of an attack on the convoy of Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke, on Wednesday, August 19.

Security escorts of the governor engaged some unidentified men in a gun duel during the governor’s visit to the palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo shortly after receiving his certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Davido and the governor’s children were in his convoy when the attack occurred.

Pandemonium broke after the unknown gunmen began shooting sporadically at the convoy while the governor’s security detail returned fire.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the police command, Abiodun Ojelabi, said preliminary investigation revealed that members of Eye Confraternity were after Davido.

“One Adebayo Taoreed, popularly known as “Small Rugged”, an ex convict, a suspected notorious thug and a member of eye confraternity allegedly attempted to gain access to Davido but was resisted by members of his security Team.

The ensuing confrontation reportedly attracted other suspected gang members in the vicinity, who temporarily blocked the entrance to the palace and obstructed the movement of the convoy of the Governor.”

Ojelabi said a 60-year-old man identified as Tajudeen Yusuf was shot dead during the gun duel.

“Shortly afterwards, the suspected gang members reportedly departed the vicinity and, however on their way, they allegedly shot Tajudeen Yusuf at Itaolokan area of Osogbo.

Upon receiving the information, the police immediately mobilised a patrol team to the scene, where the victim was found lying in a pool of blood. He was promptly rushed to the University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, for medical attention. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead by the doctors on duty.

The Command has commenced a full-scale investigation into the incident and intensified efforts to identify, apprehend and bring the fleeing suspects to justice.’’
