“He needs to have enough to take care of you” — Stella Damasus reveals non-negotiables for her daughter’s partner

Veteran actress Stella Damasus has revealed the qualities she would consider non-negotiable in a man who wants to be with her daughter.

Speaking in a recent interview, Stella said the man must fully respect her daughter and be “obsessed” with her.

She also said he must have enough money to take care of himself and her daughter, stressing that financial stability is important to her.

According to the actress, discipline is another major requirement, saying the man must be disciplined in his mind, body and overall life.

Stella added that although she would want her daughter’s partner to love and fear God, she believes those qualities must be accompanied by self-discipline.

She jokingly added that being good-looking is also important, saying there are “many, many more” qualities she would consider.

Police probe trending video of altercation between IRT Officers and traffic wardens

The Edo State Police Command has ordered a discreet investigation into a viral video showing an altercation between officers of the Edo State Traffic Management Agency (EDSTMA) and operatives of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT).

A video showing some of the traffic wardens and IRT officers engaging in a heated argument and even pulling each other’s attire made the rounds on social media on Wednesday, September 9. The video also captured an IRT officer firing his rifle into the air during the confrontation.

In a statement released, the state Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Eno Ikoedem, said the state Commissioner of Police, CP Patrick Daaor, has interviewed representatives of both parties and directed a thorough investigation to establish the circumstances that led to the incident.

CP Daaor also ordered that the conduct of the officer seen firing the rifle be subjected to appropriate disciplinary review.

The Police Command said it would not condone acts of indiscipline, unprofessional conduct or abuse of police powers by any of its personnel, stressing that any officer found culpable after investigation would be appropriately sanctioned in line with extant laws and regulations.

The Command also emphasised the importance of inter-agency collaboration and mutual respect between security and government agencies, noting that effective public safety requires agencies to work together professionally.

Achieve Your Dreams — Because Nobody Is Coming To Save You.

    Only God Guides.

    A — Pain as Knowledge

Don’t regret the person who hurt you today. They are the pain, the knowledge, the experience, and the motivation pushing you toward your goals and dreams. When you are hurt, try to feel happy — ask why it happened, and use that lesson to grow.

    B — Hard Lessons

The sad truth is many young people don’t understand financial problems until they learn the hard way. Repeating the same mistakes year after year without questioning themselves keeps them trapped. Sometimes God lets you face challenges longer, just to change your mindset toward a positive circle and rich mentality.

    C — Environment Matters

A poor mentality environment cannot elevate you.It makes you think small, local, and poor.Your chance of success might be just one step away — through financial communication, relationships, or traveling to explore your skills.

    D — Wrong Circles

Not everyone thinks like the rich-minded.Many suffer because of wrong locations, wrong circles, and chasing freedom only to impress people who don’t care. People value only what they benefit from. Some will use you as a vessel to escape their own financial needs.

E — Rich Thinking vs Survival Hustle

When you think rich, you buy in bulk, settle essentials long-term, and free yourself to focus on upgrading skills and investments. Survival hustling without thinking keeps you stuck. Investment hustling builds your future.

    F — Integrity and Authenticity

Some became heartless because they helped others and were forgotten. But authenticity is you — don’t overshare your success story. Instead, update your skills and remember: we hustle for our children, not for pleasures or to please everyone.

    G — Humanity Over Wealth

Most people can survive without you, but don’t go cold when you’re in a position to help. Even a little help matters — because without human beings, cash has no value. We are not created to chase wealth alone. That’s what destroys most people.

H — Hustle, Gratitude, and Stewardship

Schools taught us how to read, but not how to manage money. Teach children financial responsibility early — because legacy is not wealth alone, it is wisdom passed down.Real strength is not controlling others, but having the discipline to control yourself. Learn to apologize, accept correction, ask questions, and admit when you are wrong. Surround yourself with friends who challenge you to grow.

📍 Say after me: “I will take control of my life.”

    I — Victory Speaks Loudest

Most people don’t care about your problems — until you win. That’s why you must keep pushing, keep hustling, and keep building. Your victory is the only language the world respects.

Part 4 (Final): The Bell Ringer Who Summoned Fate

Six months later, Gideon had settled fully into village life, no longer simply extending an indefinite stay but genuinely building a life alongside Rue helping maintain the tower's ancient mechanisms, learning the careful discipline of bell-ringing tradition, becoming steadily woven into the fabric of a community that had first, dramatically announced their connection.

"I have something to ask you," Gideon said one crisp morning, finding Rue in the tower preparing for the day's ordinary, faithful ritual. "Though I confess, I've been planning this rather more carefully than the bells' initial dramatic announcement."

Rue turned, curiosity evident as she noticed his uncharacteristic nervousness. "What is it?"

Gideon reached into his coat, retrieving a small, carefully crafted ring. "Rue, six months ago, ancient bells rang unbidden, declaring something neither of us had properly chosen yet ourselves. Since then, I've watched us build something entirely genuine deliberate conversation, patient trust, real vulnerability chosen freely rather than simply following prophecy. I love you, completely and genuinely, not because fate demanded it, but because I've chosen you, every single day since, deliberately and with complete certainty."

Rue felt tears filling her eyes, overwhelming joy building steadily in her chest. "Gideon—"

"Will you marry me?" he asked, kneeling carefully amid the tower's ancient bell mechanisms. "Not because ancient tradition first brought us together, though I'll always treasure that unusual beginning. Simply because I've fallen genuinely, deliberately in love with exactly who you are."

"Yes," Rue said immediately, pulling him up before he'd even fully risen, kissing him soundly amid the tower's familiar, weathered bells. "Completely, genuinely, without a single moment of hesitation."

As they embraced, the ancient bells above them began ringing once more not wild and unbidden this time, but steady, joyful, as though celebrating deliberately alongside their very real, thoroughly chosen happiness.

The village elder, hearing the unusual midday ringing, hurried toward the tower with evident curiosity, finding Rue and Gideon embracing joyfully amid the bells' celebratory peal.

"The bells rang again," she observed, smiling knowingly. "Though this time, I suspect, entirely by your own hands rather than any inexplicable magic."

Rue laughed, genuine happiness evident in her bright expression. "Entirely our own choice, this time. Though I confess, I'm rather grateful the bells' initial magic gave us the chance to discover it properly."

They married that spring, exchanging vows beneath the very tower where ancient bells had first, dramatically announced their connection, surrounded by a community that had witnessed the rare, extraordinary beginning and now celebrated the genuine, deliberately chosen love that had grown from it.

As Rue continued her family's two-hundred-year tradition, ringing the tower's ancient bells each faithful dawn, she felt profound gratitude settling permanently into place understanding that while fate might occasionally open unexpected doors, genuine, lasting love always required the deliberate, continued choice of walking through them together, faithfully, every single day that followed.

Part 2: The Bell Ringer Who Summoned Fate

The village elder approached them both, curiosity and genuine warmth evident in her weathered expression. "This hasn't happened in my lifetime," she said, studying Rue and Gideon with obvious fascination. "The last recorded instance was nearly sixty years ago, according to the old records. You two should feel rather extraordinarily fortunate."

"What exactly does the legend say happens next?" Gideon asked, glancing between the elder and Rue with evident curiosity.

"Simply that you're meant to explore the connection," the elder explained. "The bells don't force anything, mind you. They merely indicate genuine compatibility, deep enough to be considered fated. What you two choose to build from that foundation remains entirely up to you."

Rue felt oddly relieved by this clarification, some anxious part of her having worried the tradition demanded immediate, forced commitment rather than simply offering gentle, hopeful guidance. "That seems considerably less overwhelming than I initially feared."

"Good," the elder said, smiling warmly. "Though I confess, watching those bells ring unbidden after two centuries of waiting was rather moving, regardless of how gently the tradition itself unfolds afterward."

As the gathered crowd slowly dispersed, curiosity satisfied for the moment, Rue found herself alone with Gideon for the first time, both still processing the strange, wonderful morning's events.

"Would you like to see the tower properly?" she offered, surprising herself with the invitation. "Since apparently it played rather a significant role in bringing you here."

Gideon smiled, genuine warmth evident in his expression. "I'd like that very much."

They climbed the tower's worn stone steps together, Rue explaining the history of her family's two-hundred-year tradition, the careful discipline required to properly maintain the bells' ancient mechanisms, the quiet pride she took in continuing work her father, and his father before him, had faithfully upheld.

"It sounds like considerable responsibility," Gideon observed, studying the massive bells with genuine interest. "Do you ever resent the obligation, being tied so completely to tradition?"

Rue considered the question honestly. "Occasionally, perhaps, though mostly I find genuine meaning in it. There's something profound about maintaining continuity, connecting generations through simple, faithful ritual." She paused, studying him thoughtfully. "What about you, Gideon? What brought you to our village specifically, the very morning the bells apparently decided to announce your arrival so dramatically?"

Gideon's expression grew slightly more serious. "Honestly, I'm not entirely certain. I've been traveling rather aimlessly these past several months, searching for something I couldn't properly name. I felt an unusual pull toward this particular village, stronger than simple curiosity typically warrants. Now, understanding what apparently greeted my arrival, I suppose that pull makes considerably more sense."

Rue felt warmth spreading through her chest at his admission, the strange, wonderful morning settling into something that felt less like inexplicable magic and more like genuine, deliberate possibility. "Perhaps," she said softly, "we were both searching for something we couldn't quite name, until the bells decided to properly introduce us."

Gideon studied her with growing warmth, something certain and increasingly genuine in his careful gaze. "I find myself rather grateful for that particular introduction, however dramatically unconventional."

⏳💰 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘃𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲-𝗢𝗳𝗳

Most people trade money for time, neglecting the skills that could multiply both. Stress, discouragement, and a weak mindset destroy discipline, faith, and consistency. Integrity means doing what’s right even when no one notices 👀. Success is never overnight — it’s built on vision, investment, and consistency. The right people are the funnel system; without people, even technology is useless.

💡 Even millionaires can end up broke if they don’t understand money. Wealth without wisdom dries up quickly. True growth begins when survival needs are secured first — food, shelter, health 🛒 — before chasing luxuries. Stocking up on essentials and saving 30–50% monthly through bulk buying reduces stress and frees cash for opportunities. When your basics are secured, your mind is free to focus on growth.

🚀 Money Is a Tool, Not a God

You can’t eat cash — you need food, water, shelter. Managing money wisely secures those needs. Saving isn’t hoarding; true financial literacy is managing monthly costs, expenses, charges, and fees wisely. Discipline today creates freedom tomorrow.

Daily expenses: Transport, subscriptions, eating out — small leaks sink big ships.

Monthly costs: Rent, utilities, food, bills — the foundation. If you can’t manage these, investments won’t save you.

Budget discipline: Tracking costs builds awareness and control.

Financial resilience: Mastering expenses reduces stress and frees money for savings and opportunities.

    🔥 Helping Others Means Empowerment

Helping isn’t just giving cash. A poor mindset stays poor because of perspective. Shift into a rich mindset 💡 and you’ll find freedom and purpose. Every saving must have a mission. Don’t save just to feel safe — save to position yourself, invest, buy assets, and create opportunities. Idle money will always be spent on random things 😂.

Ask yourself: What is this money preparing me for?🏡 Land | 📈 Business | 🎓 Skills | 💡 Investments

    🌱 From Survival to Growth

Time is money, and money is time. Invest in yourself 🌱, solve problems 🧩, and money will follow. Helping means empowering others to grow, not just handing out cash. Shift your mindset from survival to growth, and you’ll discover lasting success 🔥.

🕴️ Core Framework: The 3 Pillars of Financial Literacy

Managing Costs: Control daily and monthly expenses. Build awareness by tracking every leak.

Purpose-Driven Savings: Save with intention — for assets, investments, or opportunities. Idle savings vanish.

Growth Mindset: Move beyond survival. Invest in skills, empower others, and create legacy.

    💡 Key Lessons

Discipline in small expenses builds freedom in big opportunities.

Purpose-driven savings transform into growth and legacy.

Wealth without wisdom collapses; resilience comes from managing essentials first.

Helping others means shifting their perspective, not just handing out cash.

Time is the ultimate solver — money follows when you invest in yourself.

    🔥 Final Thought

True financial literacy = managing monthly costs wisely. Discipline in the small things creates freedom in the big things. Purpose-driven savings transform into growth and legacy. Shift your mindset from survival to growth, and you’ll unlock lasting success.

If this resonates, comment “Time is Money” and follow so the energy reaches you 🚀.

I lost my v!rgíníty in the most traumatic way - Spiritualist Angela Nwosu narrates how she lost her v!rginity at the hands of her mother

Spiritualist Angela Nwosu has opened up about a traumatic experience she says she suffered at the hands of her mother when she was 14.

According to Angela, her mother accused her of sleeping with a male friend, an allegation she denied. She said her father later held her down while her mother allegedly assaulted her with Cameroon pepper mixed with kerosene, causing severe pain and an injury.

Angela said the experience left her deeply traumatised and that she spent years blaming herself for what happened.

She also alleged that the injury later caused a persistent discharge and terrible odour, which led to further embarrassment at home and school.

Now a mother herself, Angela says the experience still affects how she disciplines her own children because she is determined not to repeat the cycle.

“I don’t want to end up like my mother. I don’t want to do to them what my mother did to me,” she said.

She added that despite being an adult, she still struggles to find closure over what happened.

“No second wife loves her husband genuinely, no side chick loves her man sincerely. It is not possible!” — Actor Awesome Chidiebere

Nollywood actor Awesome Chidiebere has declared that no woman who becomes a second wife or a side chick can genuinely and sincerely love a man who already has another woman.

According to him, once a woman discovers that a man is already married or in a relationship, she naturally takes a step back because women do not like to share.

He argued that whatever feelings she may have for the man can eventually become influenced by what she stands to gain from the relationship, such as money, power, influence or other benefits.

Awesome Chidiebere said the first wife is more likely to have the man's genuine love because she was there before another woman entered the picture and shared his struggles and lowest moments with him.

He added that this is why some men who enter polygamous marriages eventually return to their first wives whenever they need emotional comfort.

The actor illustrated his point with the story of a divorced couple whose children continued to bring them together for family gatherings. Despite being divorced for years and having grown children and grandchildren, he said the former couple still joked, laughed and appeared fond of each other whenever they met.

According to him, the bond comes from the fact that they shared their lives and difficult moments together, something he believes a second wife may struggle to replicate.

He also warned men against embracing polygamy, arguing that having multiple wives often comes with emotional and financial complications.

Awesome Chidiebere further compared women to different types of fruits, saying some men are simply too “indisciplined” and want to have every woman available to them.

He questioned how a man could comfortably provide for several wives and children when raising even one child is already expensive.

The actor concluded by advising men who desire another woman not to use polygamy as a means of creating more responsibilities and stress for themselves.
