Portable gives reason for forfeiting boxing match, claims Charles Okocha bit him during fight
Controversial singer Portable has explained why he walked out of his boxing match against Charles Okocha, leading to his defeat by forfeiture.
Speaking after the fight, Portable claimed that Charles Okocha bit him and also put him in a headlock, insisting that he signed up for a boxing match, not a street fight.
According to him, such actions were against the rules of the sport and unacceptable.
Portable also stated that he is a celebrity and had no reason to risk himself over the prize money, adding that he earns enough from his music career.
The singer further alleged that the fight promoters had promised to take him to London for training ahead of the bout, but instead took Charles Okocha, a decision he suggested gave his opponent an unfair advantage.
