Parts of Abuja flooded following heavy downpour The Airport Road and Lugbe area of Abuja are currently flooded following the heavy downpour witnessed in the FCT today September 1.The flood on the highway has led to heavy traffic.This flooding incident comes barely two weeks after the FCT also witnessed one. TAs part of measures to stop the flooding, the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has begun the demolition of houses said to have been constructed on water channels in the FCT.
