Nigerian influencer Cici has shared her thoughts on the ongoing controversy involving TikToker Audrey, whose fiancé was recently called out online by several women who claimed to have had relationships with him.

Cici said she believes Audrey may already know about the alleged cheating but could still choose to marry him because, according to her, some women are so focused on marriage that they overlook serious red flags.

She said the women who have been sharing alleged chats and other evidence may genuinely be trying to warn Audrey, but claimed Audrey could see them as “haters” because she considers herself the “chosen one” in the relationship.

Cici also said Audrey might find ways to explain away the allegations, including believing that the women came into the picture before she became engaged to the man.

The influencer said she feels sorry for Audrey because many women grow up dreaming of finding a kind, God-fearing and loyal partner, but added that people should take their time, investigate properly and pay attention to warning signs before getting married.

She further argued that marriage should not be pursued at the expense of personal standards and peace, saying she would rather remain single than settle for a partner who does not meet her standards.

According to Cici, women should “tear their eye” and make careful decisions because marriage is a lifetime commitment, adding that people now have opportunities to make choices that previous generations may not have had.

She concluded by saying that being single is not necessarily a problem, as she would rather focus on herself and making money than enter a marriage where she would constantly lack peace.

Media personality Tomike has questioned the practice of parents taking their children’s nannies to restaurants and social events while they are dressed in their work uniforms.

In a video shared online, Tomike said she finds the practice humiliating and wondered why it appears to be more common in Nigeria than in other countries.

She said she prefers her nannies to dress neatly when accompanying her children outside, noting that she sees them as part of her family and a reflection of her household.

“I personally find it very humiliating. It’s giving, ‘I’m the nanny and I am the nanny,’” she said.

Tomike said she believes there should still be boundaries between employers and domestic staff, but argued that this should not prevent parents from treating their nannies with respect and dignity.

She also criticised people who believe nannies should always be reminded of their position, saying she would rather create an environment where those caring for her children feel valued and respected.

According to her, once someone takes responsibility for caring for her children, she considers them part of the family and treats them accordingly.

Social media personality and businesswoman, Ifedayo Agoro, has reacted to the controversy surrounding comedian Real Warri Pikin, questioning why social media users often turn their attention to a successful woman’s husband whenever they disagree with her actions.

In a video shared online, Agoro criticised those who describe husbands as “weak” or “simps” for supporting their wives and said some people even go as far as sending private messages to the husbands of women they disagree with.

She questioned why people expect a woman to “suffer” for actions they do not approve of, asking whether they want her husband to leave her, publicly embarrass her or force her to stop posting online.

Agoro also argued that people have no way of knowing whether a couple is happy or experiencing problems in their marriage, saying outsiders should not make assumptions about relationships they are not part of.

She further suggested that some people struggle with the idea of being married to successful or powerful women because they associate masculinity with being able to control their partners.

Agoro concluded by telling social media users that their opinions do not determine the success of another couple’s marriage.

Popular Nigerian Christian TikTok creator Audrey Cyril, who has more than 600,000 followers, is continuing with her wedding plans amid a growing social media controversy involving her fiancé, Mr Presh.

The controversy began after several women publicly alleged that Mr Presh was romantically involved with them while he was in a relationship with Cyril.

Cyril has previously spoken about her relationship while largely keeping her partner private. She has also shared content about her decision to remain a virgin until marriage.

In a proposal video shared online, Mr Presh reportedly said he reached out to Cyril after the pair had been out of contact for about 10 years. According to his account, she responded almost immediately. He proposed to her in July, after which wedding preparations reportedly began.

The situation drew attention after a woman identified as Oma shared her own account of her alleged relationship with Mr Presh.

According to Oma, she had been communicating with and seeing him for some time. She alleged that the pair went on staycations together and remained in contact until January, when she discovered that he had allegedly been in a relationship with Cyril for about two years and had proposed to her.

Oma further claimed that she regularly prepared food for Mr Presh when he visited and believed they were in a relationship, saying she was unaware of his alleged involvement with another woman.

Following her claims, other women began sharing similar allegations online.

Nigerian comedian Real Warri Pikin has responded to the backlash she received following her recent moment on singer Timaya’s stage, insisting that she has no regrets about what she did.

In a video shared online, the comedian said she would repeat her actions and defended them as part of her work as an entertainer.

“I did what I did with my full chest and I will do it over and over again. I’m not sorry. I will never be sorry. I’m an entertainer. The stage is my shrine,” she said.

Real Warri Pikin also said she would continue creating content despite the criticism, adding that she was only getting started.

Her comments come after she faced criticism from some social media users over her conduct during Timaya’s performance.

Social media personality and Entrepreneur Diiadem has reacted to comments from netizens who question why she is often seen with people in Lagos despite previously saying she does not do “Lagos friendships.”

In a video shared online, Diiadem clarified that she knows and supports many people but does not necessarily consider everyone her friend.

She explained that people can attend each other’s events, celebrate together, gist, hang out and even buy each other’s asoebi without being close friends.

“I can genuinely like you, support you, root for you, celebrate you without you being part of my inner circle. Guess what? That doesn’t make that relationship fake,” she said.

Diiadem said she has become more intentional about the word “friend” as she has grown older, noting that she now distinguishes between acquaintances, colleagues, people she supports and her actual friends.

“You can be my girl and not be my friend. You can be someone I respect and not be my friend. You can even come to my birthday party, dance from morning till 2 a.m. and not still be my close friend,” she said.

She added that adulthood becomes easier when people stop forcing every good relationship into the friendship category.

Diiadem therefore urged netizens to allow her to interact with people without assuming that everyone she is seen with must be her friend.

“Allow me to interact with Lagos citizens in peace. It’s not that serious,” she added.

A Nigerian man has cried out after checking the value of shares he reportedly bought in a commercial bank 18 years ago.

The man expressed disappointment after discovering that his ₦20,000 investment had allegedly yielded only ₦5,332.50 in returns, according to his account.

The man explained that he bought the Bank shares about 18 years ago but had never checked how much he had made from the investment.

“I bought shares with a Fidelity Bank 18 years ago, and I have not checked how much I’ve made on this share. So I decided to go and check how much I have made on this share,” he said.

He recalled that he invested ₦20,000 at the time.

“I used N20,000 to buy this share 18 years ago. So, surprisingly, I went on 14th of September, 2026, this last week now they said what my share has given me is N5,332.50, what is it?” he stated.

The man questioned the return on his investment, expressing surprise that the amount he was told he had earned was ₦5,332.50 after nearly two decades.

A Nigerian lady has recounted how a man allegedly followed her for several minutes while she was returning home from an evening run.

In a video shared online, the lady confronted the man, asking why he had continued following her.

“You’ve been following me for 30 minutes. Why are you following me? Are you m@d? Why are you following me?” she said.

According to her, the incident happened on September 19, 2026, after she went out for an evening run.

She said she was almost home when the man approached her and asked where she was going. After she questioned why he wanted to know, she said he responded by asking if it was a crime to ask.

The lady said she decided not to go directly home and entered different streets while running errands, but noticed the same man following her on multiple occasions.

She said the man appeared confident despite her confronting him and questioned why she was expected to speak politely to him simply because he was a man.

The incident prompted her to speak about women's safety, saying she had recently discussed how people who go out for runs may face d@ngers on their way home.

She also criticised the idea that women need men to protect them from other men, arguing that women should be allowed to move around freely without being harassed or followed.

APC chieftain, Farouk Aliyu, says that the Minister of the FCT, Nyeosm Wike, is in some way a danger to the re-election of President Tinubu in 2027.

His comments come days after Wike and the APC governors had a spat online.

Shortly after having a closed-door meeting in Abuja on Tuesday, the APC Governors’ Forum, led by Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, openly kicked against Wike’s Rainbow Coalition group. They stated that they will not support or engage in any political arrangement that is not wholeheartedly in support of all APC candidates.

Wike, in his response, dismissed their position, accusing them of being ‘’Smart but lazy’’. He argued that he never promised to work for APC candidates at the subnational levels. Wike, who is a member of the PDP, said his promise is to work for the re-election of Tinubu but will work for the election of his party members. He described the APC governors as ‘’Smart but lazy’ politicians.

Reacting to the political tension, Garba who appeared on Channels TV last night, accused Wike of being arrogant and one who fails to remember that power and life in itself is transient. He said in some ways, Wike, by his position, poses a danger to Tinubu’s re-election.
