PiggyVest is giving out up ₦10 Million to small businesses through the Piggyvest Business Grant, and we want you all profile as "Business Owners" to apply. 

If you run a business in food and hospitality, fashion, or beauty, this was built with you in mind.

Three winners, one from each category, each walking away with ₦3,000,000 straight into their business account. 

Who can apply:

- You're 18 or older

- Your business is Nigerian-owned

- It's registered, in food and hospitality, fashion, or beauty

- You've been operating for at least 6 months

How it works:

Go to the Piggyvest Business Grant page https://openhouse.piggyvest.com/business-grant/apply</p>

• Fill in the required details and upload a short video (no longer than 5 minutes)

• Submit your application

• Your video should cover three things: the problem your business solves, what makes your business the business of the next generation, and how you'd use the grant.  

From there, PiggyVest will shortlist 9 businesses, 3 per category, to pitch live on stage at OpenHouse.

Judges will be in the room, and winners get announced live, on the day. If you have a real business and a real plan, this is your shot.

Applications close on 18th September, so don't miss out on this one.

You will be surprised that I have things I wanted to post here since last month but I haven't still posted them, Yes!

There are people that are very fast. They are always online, they follow trends very fast and they post fast. I think I'm kind of slow. I don't really keep up with trends and I don't post on time because I'm busy.

I'll recruit some of those fast people to be posting here to keep it more lively. Let me go share my referral link.

If things get stable later and my time is freed up, I'll be posting here more frequently. I have an idea, I have lots of posts ideas during the day.

Anytime it comes, I'll just write it and keep on my notepad. Then when I'm less busy I paste it here.

A food seller introduces a new product. Instead of dumping adverts, the business answers customer questions, demonstrates the product, shares its story and explains how to use it. Promotion becomes intentional after trust and understanding have started.

Facebook has groups but managing groups on Facebook is not easy. From being an admin and hiring other moderators on the group, it consumes a lot of time. And if your group should violate Facebook's rules, they'll suspend your account.

I don't have strength for Facebook groups. That's why I prefer 9jawap for it, I won't need to monitor the group too much so it will be kind of passive 👍🏼

You can create groups too and I'll also engage. Let's spice it up, make it interesting. I've had this idea for a while. It has just been to implement it
