[17] Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

You can't be a strong Christian without the word of God; you must study the Bible, and let the word sink into you.

It is the volume of the word inside you that will make you overcome in the days of adversity, because the word builds your faith.

The word of God is your compass that can or will help you navigate through, from fake doctrine, from trials, from sin and temptations.

Nigerian gospel singer and pastor Nathaniel Bassey has urged unmarried participants of the Hallelujah Challenge to commit to abstaining from *** until marriage.

Speaking during a session of the online prayer programme, Bassey encouraged those trusting God for breakthroughs to make personal commitments to live according to their faith.

“If you are a sister here or a brother, you will make a promise to God that you will not sleep with anybody who is not your spouse,” he said.

He urged participants to honour God with their bodies, asking whether they were willing to make what he described as a holy agreement with God.

“Are you ready to enter into a deal with God, a holy deal? That the next time you have ***, it will be with your godly ordained spouse,” he added.

Bassey also addressed business owners, encouraging them to stop cutting corners and make amends where they had wronged others in their business dealings.

He urged them to commit to doing things differently and making things right going forward.

Former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike has raised an alarm over what he described as an invasion of his hospital in Owerri by operatives of the Imo State Police and waste management officials.

Emenike claimed that the incident occurred on October 21, 2026, and resulted in panic among patients and the arrest of two hospital staff. He noted that a similar incident had earlier taken place on September 25.

Reacting to the development on Instagram, he wrote:

Nigerian singer T Classic has advised people to check their partners’ Gmail accounts after claiming he discovered that his former partner had been unfaithful through platforms he never expected.

In a video circulating online, the singer said he knew of instances where people exchanged explicit messages and images through Snapchat, WhatsApp, Facebook and TikTok, but his own experience surprised him.

According to T Classic, his former partner allegedly used Gmail and YouTube to communicate with other people. He also claimed that she shared explicit images through the Notes app on an iPhone.

Expressing his disbelief, the singer urged both men and women to check their partners’ Gmail accounts, saying, “Brothers and sisters, check your partner’s Gmail.”

A Nigerian woman has called for DNA tests to be banned in marriages, arguing that they are contributing to the breakdown of families.

In a video, she said men cheat and sometimes bring children from other relationships into their homes, questioning why women should not be allowed to do the same.

According to her, any child a woman gives birth to while married should be considered the husband’s child, regardless of whether she was unfaithful.

She also argued that DNA tests are often driven by a lack of trust between couples and claimed that eliminating them would help more marriages thrive.

[10] Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. [11] Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. [12] Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

This should be our prayers 🙏 everyday; the last part says "grant me a willing spirit to sustain me" to sustain in our salvation, and in the faith not to compromise it.

The pain women go through in the delivery room is indescribable and that doesn't include the 9 months they spent carrying the baby. They go through a lot just to give birth to a new life.

Today I cried bitterly because I lost a woman. We don't pray for things like this to happen, but

sometimes God may have other plans.

Why is this woman's case so painful? She had been sterile for 14 years! We have tried IVF (in-vitro fertilization) and so many methods known to mankind; the woman has been through a lot.

Finally, she had just gotten pregnant despite having an ovarian cyst and a huge load of fibroids. Yes, she got pregnant. Her fibroid started to melt away and everything was fine,

After 9 months, it was time! Her husband rushed her to the hospital and quickly I left everything I was doing and took care of her. After four hours it was so painful that we decided to open it. We lost her but the baby was alive. Before her *****, she held the baby in her arms and smiled "God is great" and then passed away.

I was devastated and sad, I went to tell the news to her husband. Upon hearing the news, her husband passed out, and their happy day just turned sour. We lost a life to deliver a new life today.

Please respect women as they cross the valley of ***** to bring life. Respect your wife! Carrying your baby for 9 months is no joke, and being in labor for hours to give birth to your children is a huge sacrifice.

Verse 12 "says our struggle is not against flesh and blood" this is to tell you that, your neighbor, or landlord,or family members, and village people are not your enemies; it's just that they allow the *****😈 to use their wicked nature against you.

Our number one enemy is the ***** 😈 the solution to overcome him is in the verse (14) to the end God help us all.

Part 4 (Final): The Woman Who Left Notes for the Next Tenant

A year after that first mortifying knock on her door, Freya sat in her apartment packing boxes, preparing to move into a new place with Callahan considerably larger than either of their current studios, though she found herself unexpectedly sentimental about leaving the small apartment where everything had begun.

That evening, their final one in the building before officially moving, Mrs. Abernathy knocked on Freya's door, holding a small, wrapped gift.

"I wanted to give you both something," she said, settling into their mostly-packed living room. "Before you two officially leave my careful matchmaking jurisdiction."

Freya unwrapped the gift carefully, finding a framed photograph Mrs. Abernathy, considerably younger, standing beside a man Freya didn't recognize outside their very building.

"My husband," Mrs. Abernathy explained, warmth evident in her weathered voice. "We met in this building too, actually, over fifty years ago now. There wasn't a notebook then, admittedly, but there was considerable meddling from other tenants. I suppose I simply continued the tradition once I moved in permanently."

"You've been doing this for years, then," Callahan said, genuinely touched. "Setting up unsuspecting tenants."

"Successfully, might I add," Mrs. Abernathy said proudly. "You two are my fourth confirmed couple. I keep a private record, separate from the building's notebook."

"A private matchmaking ledger," Freya said, laughing. "That's either deeply concerning or wonderfully sweet."

"Both, generally," Mrs. Abernathy said, echoing Callahan's earlier assessment precisely. "Now, I expect a wedding invitation eventually. I do have considerable pride invested in this particular success."

They promised faithfully, and true to their word, when Callahan proposed six months later during, appropriately, one of his Sunday morning jazz sessions in their new apartment Mrs. Abernathy received the very first invitation, framed prominently at their wedding reception alongside a printed copy of the original notebook entries that had started everything.

"To Mrs. Abernathy," Callahan toasted during their reception, "the building's most persistent, most successful unofficial matchmaker."

"And to notebooks," Freya added, laughing, "for containing considerably more magic than mere radiator complaints ever should."

As they danced together later that evening, surrounded by friends, family, and their delightfully meddling former neighbor, Freya understood profoundly that sometimes the most genuine connections began in the strangest, most specifically absurd circumstances proof that love, given half a chance and one persistent elderly matchmaker, could bloom from even the most unexpected, delightfully bizarre beginnings.
