One day, on my way home, I stopped at her shop to buy beer. I asked for canned Heineken, but she said she didn’t have it and offered me other brands.

I bought one of the alternatives, but I told her Heineken was my brand and that she should try to keep it in stock if she wanted me to become a regular customer.

The next day, as I was passing by, she shouted, “Customer, I get Heineken o!”

I parked immediately and bought from her.

Fast-forward to one evening when we had a meeting in our compound about increasing the security and waste disposal fees. As we were concluding, this same lady mistakenly walked into our compound. The moment she saw me, she shouted, “Customer, na here you dey live?”

I went over to ask what she was looking for, only to discover that she had lost her way. I directed her to where she was going and turned back.

A Nigerian man who identified himself as a professional mechanical engineer has opened up about the struggles he faces working as a dispatch rider to support his family.

In a video shared online, the man said he had been unable to find work in his field despite having several certificates and years of experience.

“I’m tired of this depression. Being a dispatch rider is not easy. No dispatch rider can say he is happy doing the work,” he said.

He explained that he took up dispatch riding after struggling to find customers and work as a mechanic, adding that he needed to feed himself and his family.

According to him, dispatch riders face constant pressure from the police, agberos, LASTMA, road safety officials and customers while working on the road.

“I have no rest of mind. Police will disturb you. Agbero, they will disturb you. LASTMA will disturb you. Road safety will disturb you. Customer will pressure your life,” he said.

The man appealed to anyone who could support him with an opportunity to relocate abroad, saying he was willing to work and repay whoever helped him.

“I’m tired. I have a family I’m feeding. No help, I don’t support myself. I’m tired,” he added.

One of the nursing students expelled for participating in a TikTok challenge has appealed for a second chance, saying she does not know how to explain the situation to her mother.

In an emotional plea, the student asked the school authorities to reconsider the decision and give the affected students another opportunity.

“How do I explain to my mother? Please, let us have a second chance,” she said.

The students were reportedly expelled after participating in a TikTok challenge that sparked concerns over their conduct as nursing students.

BBNaija housemate Keivo has broken his silence following his disqualification from the reality show.

Rapper Rick Ross’ ex-girlfriend, Jazzma Kendrick, has accused him of physically assaulting her during their relationship.

Kendrick shared photos and messages on social media, including an image showing what appeared to be an injury to her lip, which she captioned as the day she said Ross “busted” her lip and the day she left the relationship.

She also reflected on the alleged incident, saying she believed a man who physically assaults a woman does not love her.

“I don't know a lot of things, but I do know that a man that puts his hands on me, is a man that never loved me and never will,” she wrote.

Kendrick further warned women against staying with partners who become physically abusive, saying that violence could happen again.

Ahead of the 2027 Presidential election, Archbishop Emeritus of Abuja, John Cardinal Onaiyekan, says Ndigbos should not be cajoled to vote for any particular candidate but shoudl be allowed to vote for any candidate they choose to vote for.

Onaiyekan said this on Thursday, September 24, while speaking to newsmen in Enugu state.

The cleric was asked to comment on the recent call by Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo for people in the region to vote, not based on emotion, but on the competence of the candidates contesting for the position. Soludo is backing the re-election of President Tinubu.

Responding to the question, Onaiyekan said

‘’I don’t know what Soludo has told Ndigbo but all I can say i that Ndigbo should be allowed to freely choose who should be their President and it is not the duty of Governors to tell people how they should vote. The governors will have their own votes. Every governor will vote for himself. Let others do. That is the only opportunity that we have ti express our mind’’

Content creator and relationship expert GehGeh has criticised Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy over his reported purchase of a Bugatti said to be worth about ₦9 billion.

In a video shared online, GehGeh described the car as a “financial mistake” and gave Burna Boy 24 hours to remove it from his compound.

He questioned the value of spending billions of naira on a luxury car in Nigeria, particularly given the state of roads and infrastructure in the country.

According to GehGeh, Burna Boy could have used the money to support young Nigerians and contribute to improving the lives of people around him.

He argued that wealthy Nigerians should take more responsibility for supporting ordinary citizens, saying successful people have an opportunity to help others benefit from their wealth.

GehGeh also criticised what he described as the pressure among wealthy entertainers to prove who has more money, saying such competition could lead people to spend heavily on things that do not benefit the wider society.

He urged Burna Boy to sell the car and use the proceeds to empower Nigerian youths, insisting that the country needs wealthy Nigerians to do more for the people around them.

1. Coincidence: There are a lot of online opportunities but they are hiding. You have to search hard before you find them. Sometimes you stumble upon them by luck.

Example this AI course I just got, it was by coincidence. I just opened Tiktok one evening and I saw it. If I didn't open Tiktok I wouldn't have seen it, and it's very cheap.

The two mentors I saw before, I found the first one on Facebook, I found the second one on telegram through two other mentors.

To find opportunity online sometimes might not be easy. The solution to this is to be active. Just be searching online and you'll find something. I can also show you the opportunities I've seen. 👍🏼

2. Price: Another thing stopping you from earning is price. If someone wants to teach you something they'll add a price to it. If you can't pay for it, you'll miss out on the information, and that information could've helped you to make money.

Solution: If you see information you can't afford, just forget it in the meantime time.

Try and get information you can afford. The ones that are cheap, like 2k, 3k or 1k. When you make some money through that one you can upgrade to a higher information.

Or you can also go for free information if you can't afford a paid one or work on something that doesn't require capital to start.

3. Mentality: Your mentality can stop you from making money online. If you believe that everything online is a scam, when you see opportunity you won't go for it. Like that AI course I saw, if I thought it was a scam I wouldn't buy it. I could've passed.

Or if you trust everything you see online you might get scammed.

Solution: Everything online is not a scam. You need to open your mind to opportunities and explore. You also need to know how to take better risks and avoid scams.

4. The things you do:

I didn't want to add this last one at first but I just discovered it. When you want to earn money online, you should only do things that make sense.

Don't spend time clicking links or working on task sites, sites that pay you to do tasks. They are many, but when you spend your time on low value activities you will not make good income.

Your income will be too small. Whereas if you spend time working on activities that make sense, you will earn decent income and it can even scale. It can scale to hundreds of thousands of naira or even millions! Yes, millions.

There are so many good opportunities to work on like content creation, video editing, AI and others.

Stop spending time on small activities that don't pay well. Learn those online opportunities that pay well and go into it. You can learn them from me also because I'm also learning.

The Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress NDC, Peter Obi, has responded to calls for him to dump his presidential aspirations and run as Atiku’ Vice Presidential candidate in th 027 presidential election.

Obi was on Arise TV this morning when he was asked if he would ever consider such an offer.

‘’If there is an opportunity, would you step down for Atiku Abubakar as vice president?” he was asked

Responding, Obi said

‘’I am a candidate representing a political party, and Atiku Abubakar is also a candidate representing a political party. Any alliance must be between parties, not between individuals. Atiku will not step down, and neither will I, because both of us have institutional support behind us, and it is only the collective that can come together to create any alliance, not me or Atiku’’

The wife of Odogwu Asaba has apologised to women who criticised her for publicly defending her husband amid allegations surrounding his alleged affair with another woman.

In a video, she admitted that she had seen the reactions to her earlier comments and acknowledged that many people felt she should not have come out to defend him.

“I want to use this opportunity to apologise to all the women that feel offended because I stood by my husband Udo Kwasaba. I shouldn't have done that. I shouldn't have shown my face,” she said.

She said she questioned whether her husband would have defended her in the same situation, adding that she regretted coming out with her children to defend a man accused of cheating.

She also described herself as a “male-centred woman” and said her decision to defend her husband was partly influenced by her financial dependence on him.

According to her, she has been a housewife without a business or professional skills, while her husband has been responsible for providing for her, their four children and even her parents.

“I was scared. I was scared if he comes out, he's going to reject me,” she said, explaining why she initially chose to stand by him.

However, despite apologising, she made it clear that she still believes her husband and intends to defend him.

She said that although he admitted to being involved with the woman, he denied forcing himself on her, and she said she had never known him to force himself on a woman during their eight years together.

“I believe him 100%. Even if I can't defend it. Even if I can't prove it. I believe him,” she said.

She also pushed back against people telling her to leave her marriage, arguing that her husband is the father of her four children and that, as long as she and her children are safe and cared for, she has no reason to abandon the marriage because of public opinion.

“I am going to fight for the man that made me a mother,” she said.
