First Lady, Remi Tinubu, shows off vegetables she harvested from Aso Villa Garden

First lady Remi Tinubu has shown off the vegetables she harvested from her garden in Aso Villa.

She set up the garden about two years ago to promote food security in the country through a national competition, #EveryHomeAGarden#.

Parading her bountiful yield for the day, including lush green spinach, water leaf and fluted pumpkin, the First Lady said keeping a home garden is a smart way of living a healthy life at a cheap cost.

This comes weeks after she advised poor Nigerians to venture into low-capital businesses like frying akara, roasting corn or selling Kuli Kuli.
