A QUIET FACE, A BIG DREAM ๐Ÿ‘‘ | Michael Saga

Behind this face is a dream that refuses to die. I may be quiet, but my vision is loud. I am learning, growing, and building my future one step at a time. I don't need to prove myself to everybody; time will speak for me. My journey is not over, and my best chapter is still ahead. ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ”ฅ

Nollywood actress and beauty queen, Tenia Abraham has died after after battling kidney infection and was buried in Abuja on Saturday.

Abraham was laid to rest at Gudu Cemetery, Abuja, on October 17, according to an obituary shared on her Instagram page.

Her family had announced her ***** on her TikTok page on Thursday, October 15, expressing grief over the loss of the actress, whom they described as “a vibrant talent, a loving daughter, sister and friend”.

“With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved Nollywood actress, a vibrant talent, a loving daughter, sister and friend,” the statement read.

The family said Abraham died after suffering from a kidney infection.

The obituary, which gave her lifespan as 1993 to 2026, stated, “Tenia Abraham Omenogor, aged 32 years, died on 13th October 2026 after suffering from kidney infection.”

The burial announcement invited family members, friends and well-wishers to gather at the mortuary of the Federal Medical Centre, Jabi, Abuja, by 9am before the burial scheduled for 10am.

Describing the actress as “a beautiful soul” and “a gifted talent, gone too soon”, the obituary celebrated her life and contributions.

“She lived with passion, touched many lives with her talent and left behind a legacy that will never be forgotten,” it read.

In a tribute to the actress, her family wrote, “Your light may have gone out from this world, but your talent, beauty and kindness will forever live in our hearts.”

The family also described her as “a beautiful soul, a shining star, gone too soon”.

Following news of her *****, attention turned to one of her social media posts shared in August, in which she reflected on mortality and encouraged her followers to show love to others.

“One day we will leave this world. Let's love lead,” Abraham wrote.

The message resurfaced after her *****, prompting emotional reactions from followers.

Abraham was also involved in beauty pageants and held the Beauty Queen South South 2020 title....

Part 4 (Final): The Portrait That Painted Her Killer

In the weeks following Desmond's arrest and subsequent conviction, Ines found herself returning regularly to her great-aunt's studio, no longer frightened by the space, but instead drawn toward properly honoring Ottilie's memory and considerable artistic talent.

Detective Marlowe continued checking in periodically, ostensibly ensuring Ines felt genuinely secure following the unsettling ordeal, though their conversations gradually extended well beyond simple professional follow-up.

"You handled everything remarkably well," Marlowe observed one afternoon, visiting Ines at the now-peaceful studio. "Most people would have struggled considerably, confronting something so genuinely inexplicable."

"I couldn't simply ignore what was happening," Ines said honestly. "Not when my aunt was so clearly, desperately trying to communicate crucial truth."

Marlowe studied her with growing admiration. "That kind of courage is rather remarkable, Ines. I confess, I've found myself thinking about you rather more than strict professional follow-up typically requires."

Ines felt warmth spreading through her chest at the sincere admission. "I've felt the same way, actually. I confess, I've appreciated your continued visits rather more than simple safety concerns probably justify."

"Then perhaps," Marlowe said, gathering visible courage, "we might properly continue getting acquainted. Dinner, perhaps? Without any pretense of ongoing investigation."

Ines smiled warmly. "I'd like that very much."

Their relationship developed steadily over the following months, built genuinely on shared experience confronting difficult, inexplicable truth together. Ines eventually decided to properly restore and display several of her great-aunt's remaining artistic works, including the now-completed self-portrait, in a small local gallery dedicated to honoring Ottilie's considerable, previously underappreciated talent.

"I think she'd be genuinely proud," Marlowe said, attending the gallery's opening alongside Ines, both studying the completed self-portrait with quiet reverence. "Not simply for finally receiving proper justice, but for having her remarkable artistic legacy properly celebrated as well."

"I believe you're right," Ines said softly, genuine peace finally settling into place after months of frightening uncertainty and difficult, necessary investigation.

A year after Desmond's conviction, Marlowe returned to the gallery one evening, retrieving a small, carefully wrapped box she'd clearly been anticipating for weeks.

"I wanted to ask you here specifically," she said, gesturing toward Ottilie's portrait, prominently displayed nearby. "It felt appropriate, given everything this particular painting has meant to both of us."

Ines watched, breath catching, as Marlowe opened the box to reveal a delicate ring.

"Ines, will you marry me? Not because of the case that originally brought us together, but because I've fallen genuinely, completely in love with your courage, compassion, and remarkable dedication to properly honoring difficult, complicated truth."

"Yes," Ines said immediately, joyful tears spilling freely as she embraced Marlowe fully. "Completely, genuinely, without a single moment of hesitation."

As they embraced before Ottilie's finally-completed, peacefully resolved portrait, Ines understood profoundly that sometimes the most meaningful connections emerge precisely from courageously confronting life's most difficult, inexplicable truths proof that even the darkest mysteries could ultimately illuminate unexpected paths toward genuine justice, healing, and lasting love.

Achieve Your Dreams — Because Nobody Is Coming To Save You.

    Only God Guides.

    A — Pain as Knowledge

Don’t regret the person who hurt you today. They are the pain, the knowledge, the experience, and the motivation pushing you toward your goals and dreams. When you are hurt, try to feel happy — ask why it happened, and use that lesson to grow.

    B — Hard Lessons

The sad truth is many young people don’t understand financial problems until they learn the hard way. Repeating the same mistakes year after year without questioning themselves keeps them trapped. Sometimes God lets you face challenges longer, just to change your mindset toward a positive circle and rich mentality.

    C — Environment Matters

A poor mentality environment cannot elevate you.It makes you think small, local, and poor.Your chance of success might be just one step away — through financial communication, relationships, or traveling to explore your skills.

    D — Wrong Circles

Not everyone thinks like the rich-minded.Many suffer because of wrong locations, wrong circles, and chasing freedom only to impress people who don’t care. People value only what they benefit from. Some will use you as a vessel to escape their own financial needs.

E — Rich Thinking vs Survival Hustle

When you think rich, you buy in bulk, settle essentials long-term, and free yourself to focus on upgrading skills and investments. Survival hustling without thinking keeps you stuck. Investment hustling builds your future.

    F — Integrity and Authenticity

Some became heartless because they helped others and were forgotten. But authenticity is you — don’t overshare your success story. Instead, update your skills and remember: we hustle for our children, not for pleasures or to please everyone.

    G — Humanity Over Wealth

Most people can survive without you, but don’t go cold when you’re in a position to help. Even a little help matters — because without human beings, cash has no value. We are not created to chase wealth alone. That’s what destroys most people.

H — Hustle, Gratitude, and Stewardship

Schools taught us how to read, but not how to manage money. Teach children financial responsibility early — because legacy is not wealth alone, it is wisdom passed down.Real strength is not controlling others, but having the discipline to control yourself. Learn to apologize, accept correction, ask questions, and admit when you are wrong. Surround yourself with friends who challenge you to grow.

๐Ÿ“ Say after me: “I will take control of my life.”

    I — Victory Speaks Loudest

Most people don’t care about your problems — until you win. That’s why you must keep pushing, keep hustling, and keep building. Your victory is the only language the world respects.

Part 4 (Final): The Vintner Who Bottled a Confession

Their relationship developed steadily over the following months, built on the foundation of trust and mutual respect forged together during the emotionally significant investigation. Amara found herself increasingly drawn to Soraya's quiet strength, her genuine dedication to uncovering truth regardless of how much time had passed or how difficult the circumstances proved.

Meanwhile, Augustin Colby's trial concluded with proper conviction, finally providing Vittoria's surviving family a niece and nephew who'd long since given up hope of ever learning her fate with the closure they'd desperately needed for three decades.

"I wanted to thank you properly," Vittoria's niece, Genevieve, told Amara during a visit to the vineyard several months after the trial's conclusion. "Without your grandfather's careful preservation of evidence, and your own willingness to properly investigate what you discovered, we never would have learned the truth at all."

"I'm only sorry it took thirty years," Amara said sincerely. "Though I'm grateful, at least, that justice finally arrived, however delayed."

As the vineyard slowly recovered from the difficult, if ultimately necessary, disruption of the investigation, Amara found herself increasingly settled into her grandfather's legacy not simply managing failing vines, but properly honoring the quiet integrity and patient commitment to truth he'd demonstrated throughout his own life.

A year after Vittoria's case finally reached resolution, Soraya returned to the vineyard's cellar one final time not for professional purposes, but with a small, carefully wrapped box she'd clearly been anticipating for weeks.

"I wanted to ask you here specifically," she said, gesturing to the very cellar where their entire relationship had first, unexpectedly begun. "It felt appropriate, somehow, given everything this particular place has meant to both of us."

Amara watched, breath catching, as Soraya opened the box to reveal a delicate ring.

"Amara, will you marry me? Not because of any lingering case business, but because I've fallen genuinely, completely in love with your integrity, your compassion, and your remarkable willingness to properly pursue difficult truth, exactly as your grandfather once demonstrated himself."

"Yes," Amara said immediately, joyful tears spilling freely as she embraced Soraya fully. "Completely, genuinely, without a single moment of hesitation."

As they embraced amid the vineyard's quiet, historic cellar the very space that had once concealed decades-old tragedy, now transformed into the foundation for genuine, unexpected love — Amara understood profoundly that sometimes the most significant discoveries, whether uncovering long-buried truth or genuine connection, emerged precisely from patient, courageous commitment to properly honoring what truly mattered.

They married that following spring, exchanging vows amid the vineyard's renewed, flourishing vines a fitting tribute to both her grandfather's quiet, patient integrity and Vittoria's own courageous, if tragically unheeded, attempt to expose difficult truth.

As Amara continued rebuilding her grandfather's vineyard alongside her new marriage, she felt profound gratitude settling permanently into place understanding that even the most painful, long-buried mysteries could ultimately nurture unexpected, genuine growth, given proper patience, integrity, and courageous commitment to truth.

    Good food is home

Good food isn't just about what's on the plate, you can create and run campaign like this on 9jawap.

Most people trade money for time, neglecting the skills that could multiply both. Stress, discouragement, and a weak mindset destroy discipline, faith, and consistency. Integrity means doing what’s right even when no one notices ๐Ÿ‘€. Success is never overnight — it’s built on vision, investment, and consistency. The right people are the funnel system; without people, even technology is useless.

๐Ÿ’ก Even millionaires can end up broke if they don’t understand money. Wealth without wisdom dries up quickly. True growth begins when survival needs are secured first — food, shelter, health ๐Ÿ›’ — before chasing luxuries. Stocking up on essentials and saving 30–50% monthly through bulk buying reduces stress and frees cash for opportunities. When your basics are secured, your mind is free to focus on growth.

๐Ÿš€ Money Is a Tool, Not a God

You can’t eat cash — you need food, water, shelter. Managing money wisely secures those needs. Saving isn’t hoarding; true financial literacy is managing monthly costs, expenses, charges, and fees wisely. Discipline today creates freedom tomorrow.

Daily expenses: Transport, subscriptions, eating out — small leaks sink big ships.

Monthly costs: Rent, utilities, food, bills — the foundation. If you can’t manage these, investments won’t save you.

Budget discipline: Tracking costs builds awareness and control.

Financial resilience: Mastering expenses reduces stress and frees money for savings and opportunities.

    ๐Ÿ”ฅ Helping Others Means Empowerment

Helping isn’t just giving cash. A poor mindset stays poor because of perspective. Shift into a rich mindset ๐Ÿ’ก and you’ll find freedom and purpose. Every saving must have a mission. Don’t save just to feel safe — save to position yourself, invest, buy assets, and create opportunities. Idle money will always be spent on random things ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Ask yourself: What is this money preparing me for?๐Ÿก Land | ๐Ÿ“ˆ Business | ๐ŸŽ“ Skills | ๐Ÿ’ก Investments

    ๐ŸŒฑ From Survival to Growth

Time is money, and money is time. Invest in yourself ๐ŸŒฑ, solve problems ๐Ÿงฉ, and money will follow. Helping means empowering others to grow, not just handing out cash. Shift your mindset from survival to growth, and you’ll discover lasting success ๐Ÿ”ฅ.

๐Ÿ•ด๏ธ Core Framework: The 3 Pillars of Financial Literacy

Managing Costs: Control daily and monthly expenses. Build awareness by tracking every leak.

Purpose-Driven Savings: Save with intention — for assets, investments, or opportunities. Idle savings vanish.

Growth Mindset: Move beyond survival. Invest in skills, empower others, and create legacy.

    ๐Ÿ’ก Key Lessons

Discipline in small expenses builds freedom in big opportunities.

Purpose-driven savings transform into growth and legacy.

Wealth without wisdom collapses; resilience comes from managing essentials first.

Helping others means shifting their perspective, not just handing out cash.

Time is the ultimate solver — money follows when you invest in yourself.

    ๐Ÿ”ฅ Final Thought

True financial literacy = managing monthly costs wisely. Discipline in the small things creates freedom in the big things. Purpose-driven savings transform into growth and legacy. Shift your mindset from survival to growth, and you’ll unlock lasting success.

Man allegedly loses his job in the Netherlands after taking colleagues to his wedding in Nigeria and showing them the hotel he owns — TikTok user shares story

A TikTok user has shared an unverified story about a Nigerian man who allegedly lost his job in the Netherlands after taking his colleagues to his wedding in Nigeria and inadvertently revealing that he owned the hotel where they stayed.

According to the TikTok user, the man, who works in the Netherlands, travelled to Nigeria for his wedding and invited some of his colleagues to attend. They were reportedly lodged at a hotel which they later discovered was owned by the man.

The TikTok user claimed that after the colleagues returned to the Netherlands, the information allegedly reached the man's employer, who reportedly questioned how his salary could support ownership of such a hotel.

He claimed the man was subsequently fired, allegedly over concerns that his assets and income did not match and that he had failed to declare certain assets or additional sources of income.

However, the TikTok user repeatedly stressed that the story had not been independently verified, although he said his research suggested that there could be circumstances under Dutch employment and financial regulations where undeclared assets, unexplained wealth or undisclosed income could raise concerns.

He has now asked people living and working in the Netherlands to share whether they have experienced a similar situation, particularly involving properties, inheritances or businesses owned in African countries.

16-year-old Nigerian boy d!es after entering lake in UK

Police have named a 16-year-old boy who d!ed after getting into difficulty in a lake in Lincoln, United Kingdom.

Iretomiwa Abiodun Micheal, also known as Tomiwa, was rescued from Swanholme Lakes on 9 July, 2026 and d!ed later in hospital, Lincolnshire Police said in a statement on Friday, July 17.

Lincolnshire Police received a call at around 5:48pm reporting a concern for safety at the popular lake location.

Emergency services, including Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue and the East Midlands Ambulance Service, attended the scene to rescue the boy.

Despite initial signs of response to treatment at the location, he sadly passed away at the hospital at 8:50pm with his parents by his side.

Police have announced that a file will be passed to the coroner for further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the drowning.

In the statement issued by Lincolnshire Police, Tomiwa’s parents, Abiodun and Tope Micheal, described him as a “vibrant, energetic and unforgettable young man whose presence illuminated every space he entered”.

“His laughter, warmth and joyful spirit touched countless lives,” they added.

Tomiwa was the eldest of four brothers and was described as a “protector” and “constant source of encouragement”.

“His younger brothers adored him and he cared for them with tenderness, always making them smile and supporting them in every way,” his parents said.

The parents said Tomiwa, who played for Greenbank FC and Lincoln City FC, was a “social butterfly” who always made friends.

“He consistently sought the good of others and uplifted those around him,” they said.

“His home was filled with laughter because of his unique spirit, infectious joy and generous heart.”

Tomiwa was also an active member of the church youth ministry.

“Tomiwa leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, discipline, joy and compassion. Though his life was short, it was profoundly impactful,” his parents said.

“He leaves a lasting example for his brothers, comfort for his parents and cherished memories for everyone who knew him.

“Tomiwa will forever remain in our heart.”

    Emotional Storytelling ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’›

Let me tell you a story about the most valuable thing a man ever lost ๐Ÿ‘‡

There was a businessman who was known throughout his city as a man of his word. His handshake was worth more than any contract. People trusted him with their money, their secrets, and their businesses without a second thought. He was not the richest man in the city but he was the most respected.

One day he made one bad decision. He told one lie to close one deal. Just one. And when it came out and it always comes out he lost in one week what had taken him 20 years to build. Not his money. Not his business. His REPUTATION.

He said afterwards. "I did not lose my business. I lost something worth far more than my business. I lost my integrity and without it I am nothing."

Guard your integrity like your life depends on it. Because your legacy does. ๐Ÿ™

"I pray God shows me when to quit music before I ruin my legacy" – Davido

Afrobeats superstar Davido has opened up about his biggest fear saying he constantly prays for the wisdom to know when it's time to step away from music.

Speaking on the subject, the singer referenced football icon Cristiano Ronaldo, whom he described as a good friend, noting that despite everything the Portuguese legend has achieved, he still faced criticism during the World Cup.

Davido said he doesn't want to stay in the game for too long and risk overshadowing the legacy he has built.

"My biggest fear is not knowing when to quit music. Look at Ronaldo, he's my good friend by the way. After everything he's done for football, they still laughed at him during the World Cup. I pray to God every day to show me the right time to pack it up, so that I don't use one small thing to spoil it," he said.

Six Months After Inauguration, the University of Benin Trust Development Fund (UNIBENTDF) Delivers on Mandate as they Launch โ‚ฆ100 Billion Fund

Just six months after the inauguration of the Board of Trustees (BoT) for the University of Benin Trust Development Fund (UNIBENTDF), they have began delivering palpably on their mandate. Their first task of officially launching its ambitious yet timely โ‚ฆ100 billion target has been actualised as part of the UNIBENTDF's BoT marking a significant milestone in the institution's drive towards financial sustainability and global competitiveness.

This landmark, first of its kind fundraising ceremony took place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the Akin Deko Auditorium, Ugbowo Main Campus of UNIBEN in Benin City. The event attracted an impressive gathering of government officials, captains of industry, distinguished alumni, traditional rulers, development partners, corporate organisations, members of the university community, staff, students and friends of the institution, all united in support of the university's vision for sustainable development.

Chairing the occasion was His Excellency, Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, CON, former Governor of Lagos State, former two-time Minister of Works, and a distinguished alumnus of the University of Benin. In his keynote remarks, Fashola who stated how everyone that passes through the institution has a unique experience and with each their "UNIBEN Story", described the initiative as a defining moment in the history of the university, stressing that alumni have a responsibility to preserve and strengthen the institution that shaped their lives. He encouraged graduates of the university across the world to invest in the future of their alma mater, noting that sustainable universities are built through the collective commitment of their alumni and other stakeholders.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Edoba Bright Omoregie, SAN, said the UNIBENTDF represents a bold response to the financial realities facing public universities in Nigeria. According to him, government subventions alone can no longer meet the growing demands of quality teaching, research, innovation and infrastructure development. He explained that the university established the fund, which was a first of its kind in Nigeria to create a permanent source of support for strategic projects that will benefit future generations.

Professor Omoregie disclosed that the university has over 350,000 alumni worldwide and expressed confidence that broad participation from alumni, corporate organisations and development partners would make the โ‚ฆ100 billion target achievable. He noted that if 250,000 alumni each contribute โ‚ฆ100,000, the university would realise โ‚ฆ25 billion towards the target.

Chairman of the UNIBENTDF BoT, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu Esq, described the initiative as more than a fundraising exercise. According to him, it is a declaration of confidence in the future of the University of Benin and a commitment to building an institution that will compete with the best universities in the world. He assured donors that the fund would be managed with transparency, accountability and integrity while delivering projects that will have lasting impact on the university community.

The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, CON, represented by Prof. Joe Ahaneku former Vice-Chancellor of the National University of Science and Technology, Abuja at the event, commended the University of Benin for embracing an innovative funding model that aligns with the Federal Government's vision for sustainable financing of tertiary education. He urged alumni, philanthropists, private organisations and development partners to support the initiative, describing every contribution as an investment in the future of Nigeria.

Also present was the Minister of Regional Development, Hon. Engr. Abubakar Momoh, FNSE, a distinguished alumnus of the University of Benin, who called for stronger collaboration between government, alumni and the private sector to secure the future of higher education. The Minister had in his entourage, leadership of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) inclusive of the Chairman, Chief Chiedu Ebie, Dr Samuel Ogbuku the Managing Director and other Directors. Their promise of a 650-room hostel and upgrading of the internal roads within the campuses is remarkable.

His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo the Governor of Edo State and Chief Host of this history making event, reaffirmed the state's commitment to supporting educational institutions that promotes excellence, innovation and human capital development. In the Governor's address delivered by his Chief of Staff, Hon. Yakubu Oshiorenua Musa, he made it clear that his value for education was unparalleled, a phenomenon exemplified by his swift increase of subventions to both Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma and the Edo State University, Iyamho. Just like Governor Samuel Ogbemudia who founded the University of Benin whose legacy we build on now, Edo State will always champion education. He commended the visionary work and determination of the UNIBENTDF BoT.

Other distinguished guests included representatives of Access Holdings Plc led by a celebrated alumnus, renowned banker and philanthropist, Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, CFR, FCIB who was the Chief Launcher, represented by Mr. David Aluko, Director, Government and Federal Capital Relations, Coronation Group have pledged a project that will make UNIBEN the envy of other institutions across the country.

The presence of members of the University's Governing Council led by the Chairman, Professor Shuaib Umaru, members of the Senate, captains of industry, traditional rulers, distinguished alumni, development partners and friends of the university reflected the broad national support for the University's vision of becoming a financially sustainable and globally competitive institution.

The โ‚ฆ100 billion will finance transformational projects across the university, including modern student hostels, research laboratories, innovation and entrepreneurship hubs, digital infrastructure, a world-class library, sports and recreational facilities, transportation systems, conference facilities, agricultural research projects and other income-generating ventures that will improve learning while strengthening the university's long-term financial sustainability.

The event also witnessed strong commitments from alumni, corporate organisations and development partners through cash donations and multi-project support, further demonstrating widespread confidence in the leadership and future of the UNIBENTDF.

Leading the alumni community was the President Worldwide of the University of Benin Alumni Association, Barr. Emmanuel Oriazuwa, who doubles as a member of the BoT. Other members of the UBAA Executive Committee, Chairmen of Branches, Distinguished Alumni and members of the association were present. Present also were leaders of the diaspora branches of the association; Professor Tony Agbonasevbaefe, President of the University of Benin Alumni Association of the United Kingdom (UBAAUK) and Engr. Osasere Favour Osifo, President of the University of Benin Alumni Association North America (UBAANA).

Other UNIBENTDF BoT members present were; Mr. Alexander Imuetinyan Eronmwon (former President of UBAANA), Dr. (Mrs) Loretta Oduware Ogboro-Okor (former President of UBAAUK and pioneer Director General, Edo State Diaspora Agency), Kingsley Jesuorobo Esq. from Canada who leads the audit committee of the UNIBENTDF and the secretary of the UNIBENTDF BoT, Chief Richard Oma Ahonaruogho, SAN were also on hand at this historic event.

The successful launch stands as a remarkable achievement for the University of Benin. Within only six months of the inauguration of the UNIBENTDF BoT, the university has transformed an ambitious vision into reality, setting a new benchmark for sustainable and impactful university funding in Nigeria. The initiative is expected to strengthen infrastructure, enhance research and innovation, improve student welfare, expand partnerships and position the University of Benin among Africa's leading centres of excellence for teaching, learning and research.

The UNIBENTDF BoT jointly expressed certainty that the 4th of July 2026 event remains a catalyst for more to come. The race is a marathon and not a sprint, a journey in accontability and transparency where the goal is to ensure that the children of the common man can get educated as we build future generations together.
