In 2026, when your salary or income increases, don't increase your spending, rather, you should increase your savings.

When your savings increase, don't increase your spending, increase your investment. When your investment increases, don't increase your enjoyment, rather, you should increase your self growth and personal development. .

This year, My first Monday Motivation for you is to SAVE MONEY. If you are already saving, please increase your savings. Because without savings you are not safe - your entire existence is in danger!

After saving alot of money, then it's time to invest. Invest your savings properly. Because without investment, your life may end up in financial disappointment.

In recap, make money legitimately and legally, save money intentionally, spend money miserly/economically and invest money wisely.

A TEACHER OR A MODERN SLAVE

It seems like teaching in Nigeria is a new form of slavery. Teachers in Nigeria are gradually becoming nothing but exalted slaves!

A teacher in Nigeria is nothing but a glorified slave who carriers the whole burden of nation building on his or her shoulder with a perennial empty stomach.

If you happen to find yourself in the teaching profession, whether Intentionally or accidentally, just know that you are nothing but a dignified slave who earns pittance to keep surviving so you don't die of hunger and starvation.

Don't tell me you are teaching out of passion. Passion is not food! Your stomach does not feed on passion. Your body cannot wear passion instead of fashion to the classroom.

Your family, children, wife cannot feed on passion - passion doesn't pay bills. Passion is never a legal tender.

So save yourself that deceitful doctrine of passion they have used to bamboozled your minds. If teachers are actually the Nation builders, why are they the lowest paid in Nigeria?

If teachers are truly mind builders, why is it that house builders or a bricklayer earns more money than a classroom teacher who is a bsc holder?

Let's not be hypocrites here, let's call a spade a spade. We cannot keep on paying peanuts to teachers and expect hungry teachers not to produce angry students who will become menace to our society tomorrow.

We can't keep on enslaving teachers with meager salaries and expect them to produce mega minds that would transform the society.

If teachers are these useful (which I strongly believe they are more useful than our otiose politicians) we should not only treasure them in words, but in our deeds and actions.

Pay teachers what they deserve! Accord them the respect and honor they deserve. Pay them thesame way you pay your politicians and public office holders. A teacher also deserves the good life!

Treat teachers as national heros! The society cannot keep treating and paying teachers as slaves and expect them not to produce students after their kinds.

What is giant about a nursing mother
who seats down and watch helplessly
how bandits, kidnappers, terrorist keep

Are Nigerians really exceptional
brilliant people?
What's brilliant about a people
who cannot construct their own roads
but depends solely on Julius Berger or China to do it for them?

What's exceptionally brilliant about us -
if we cannot provide common basic
social amenities for ourselves?

What is exceptional brilliant about Nigerians -
When our economy is in complete comatose?
What is exceptionally brilliant about Nigerians
When all our four refineries are not working?

Oh yes! we may actually be exceptional in one thing.
Of a truth, Nigerians are exceptionally and fantastical corrupt!

Is Nigeria really a religious Nation?
What is religious about a people who
don't love each other - but are busy daily
calling the name of God?

What is religious about a people who
have legalized bribery and corruption?

What is religious about a people
Who are more fetish, nasty, diabolic
brutish, barbaric and inhuman
than pagans or idol worshippers?
What's religious about a set of
people who see God as a gambler
and a money doubler?

May be the root cause of our quagmire
as a nation is because we overate or
overestimate who we are as a people.

May be because we deceitfully think we are
extra-ordinary people - so we begin to do things
Outrageously and out of the ordinary ways which
are tiring us apart.

May be if we start seeing ourselves as normal
Africans not giant of Africa.
May be if we start viewing ourselves as good people
rather than great people.
May be if we are just humans, not extraordinary humans -
Just kind and noble human beings not out of the ordinary
human beings,
We will start to set the record straight and get it right
this time.

CRIME AND CONSEQUENCES

A society without laws becomes a lawless society. Any society with too many laws becomes a useless society. While any society with perpetual law breakers with impunity, becomes a senseless, motionless and a clueless society.

Should consequences come before crime, or should crime come before consequences?

The idea about the rule of law is that no man is above the law. Any society that does not respect the absolute supremacy of the law will surely crumble.

The presence of meaningful laws in a society is not enough. There must be adequate machinery in place that would enforce these laws, otherwise, the society would deteriorate into anarchy.

It is a pity that people commit heinous crimes in Nigeria every day without been brought to book. Kidnappers will kidnap innocent denizens of this country, collect ransom and go freely without any consequences.

Corruption is no longer a crime in Nigeria. We have successfully legalized and legitimized corruption. Banditry, terrorism, vandalism and nepotism are now a normal way of life and they are acceptable ways of making a living.

Where are we even going as a people? Where is the destiny ship of this great country sailing to? I pray the destiny ship of this country would not sink like Titanic. Good afternoon
