The secret of goodness can be used to pay for the secret of suffering. The secret of kindness can be used to pay for the secret of ceaseless struggles. The secret of selflessness can be used to pay for the secret of selfishness.

The secret of forgiveness can be used to pay for the secret of sorrow. The secret of love can be used to pay for the secret of pain.

The secret of suffering, struggling, sorrow, selfishness and pain are inevitable and ineluctable - they are far beyond our human capacity or control, and also far beyond our human comprehension.

But the secret of goodness, of kindness, of forgiveness, of selflessness and of love are absolutely under our control. We can use each as a legal tender for the exchange of our suffering, struggling, sorrow, selfishness and pain.

Only those who have mastered the secret of goodness, of kindness, of forgiveness, of selflessness and love can be able to pay, unravel, demystify and overcome the secret of the suffering, the struggling, the sorrow, the selfishness and the pain in their lives.

Kindness may not save you from suffering, but it gives you the strength to bear it with courage till the very end.

Forgiveness may not literally erase the offence, but it would free your soul from self imposed captivity. Forgiveness frees your soul from sorrow.

Selflessness may not eradicate selfishness from your life, but it helps to tame and curtail it to an imperceptible level, and exhibits the humanity in you.

Love can never prevent you from experiencing pain, but it empowers, energizes and endows you with the capacity to endure your prison of pain.

Love is not a salvation for escaping pain, but love is a succor that teaches you how to brook your pain without shouting, grumbling and complaining.

Pure Love is an anesthesia to pain. Those who truly have it are always happy, joyful and peaceful even in the middle of suffering, sorrow and pain.

I still find it very hard to reconcile the fact that adults still fight for food in public. It seems unbelievable to see grown up adults insulting themselves in public due to one plate of jollof rice.

Even if you are suffering from starvation, must you come and display your pitiable penury in public? Even if you've not eaten for days, must you come and announce your empty pocket in public?

You go to party, you then sit down and watch how grown up adults disgrace themselves just because of one plate of jollof rice.

The same jolly rice that was prepared in an unhygienic environment, by women who are as dirty as charcoal. I mean, when you see the hands that would cook these party jollof rice, you will weep for the mouths that eat the food.

I remember a day I was coming back from work, I saw some very dirty and unkept women cooking a party jollof. Close to where they were cooking the rice, some children were defecating in a nylon they spread on the ground.

As I was passing, I was perceiving the aroma of the party jollof rice and the horrible smell of the stool simultaneously.

This is the same jollof rice that one adults who is old enough to be someone else's grandfather/mother would be fighting, insulting, abusing and jumping just to have a taste of it.

We need to do better as adults because the children are watching us. Fighting, quarrelling and disgracing your entire generation because of party jollof rice is old-school - it's outdated! Eat from your house before going to any party. Respect yourself and protect your human dignity.

Why is it that when God starts blessing us, it is those that have been with us when we had nothing we start looking down on?

Why is it that when our level changes, we start dissociating, discriminating and disdaining those we were on the same level with not too long ago?

Why is it that those that stood by us, those that supported us, those that believed in us, those that encouraged us, those that refused to give up on us and those that contributed to us the little way they could, are still those we value less and we see as useless to us, the moment we start to experience God's blessings upon our lives?

I have seen a wife outrightly disrespecting the same husband that gave her the connection which got her a lucrative job.

I have seen a husband abusing and battering the same wife that sold her inheritance in order to raise the capital he used to start the business that made him rich.

I have seen two best friends living in a shantytown, dwelling in a dilapidated house, struggling to eke out a living, but supporting each other. The moment one of them became blessed, he or she started maltreating and mistreating the other - telling other people that his or her friend, 'is a lazy man/woman'.

Why is it that those that can take a bullet for us, are the same people we are ready to pull a trigger on? Why is it that those that are always ready to cover our nakedness, are the same people we are publicly proud to make unclad in public?

Why do we associate more with those who disassociated themselves from us when we had nothing? Why do we also disassociate from those who associated themselves with us when we had nothing?

Both of you were nobodies, but when God made you a somebody, you started calling your husband, your brother or your best friend a nobody in front of everybody! Why? I ask myself why?Then I realized that life is not logical, life is not rational, life is not emotional, life is canal. Good evening

Inside a danfo or molue bus you can literarily and tangible see the palpable hatred and venomous animosity poor people have towards each other. They don't have to know each other before they get offended by each other.

They don't even have to disagree on anything before they start disrespecting each other. No form of quarrel has to happen between them before they start raining thunderstorm insults and destiny wrecking curses on each other.

Another very funny thing you would observe is that those sitting inside the molue bus can tolerate each other a little bit better, but you see those standing (those who are so broke they can't even afford paying for a seat in the bus) are the most terrible poor people you would ever come across in your lifetime.

They can start insulting each other's parents and grandparents for no reason. No polite words, not simple courtesy, no any form of cordiality - just heavy insults and speaking to each other in a disdainful and condescending manner.

No any form of connecting with each other in order to collaborate for greater impact. once the poor see each other, they instantaneously hate each other. Once they sit close to each other, they detest each other vehemently.

little wonder why the rich will continue to become richer, while the poor will continue in their penury. Good afternoon.

Your human right is more important than your civil rights. Your human right should come first before your civil rights - and it should be given more priority than your civic duties.

Whoever does not respect your human right has no moral right to preach to you about your civil right or civic duties.

Whoever does not uphold your human right and dignity, cannot and should not dictate to you how to exercise your civic responsibilities.

Although, your civil right is very important, but it's not as important to your life and existence as your human right.

Here is the trick, selfish politicians place a citizen's civil rights above his or her human rights.

They show you how to exercise your civil right, they demonstrate to you how to carry out your civic duties accurately. They even teach you the importance of your civic rights as a citizen.

This is why you find out that right from elementary education up to your tertiary education, they teach you Civic Education, but they don't teach you about human right education.

If you have no food to eat for now, at least, you are far better than those who have different kinds of healthy food but are medical unhealthy to eat them.

If you have nothing to eat, at least, you are far better than those who have various varieties of food but have completely lost their appetite for food.

If you have no clothes to wear, be grateful that you still have a healthy body that is capable of wearing clothes.

If you have no shoes to put on, be thankful that you can still stand on your feet. Be appreciative of the fact that you even have a healthy feet that requires shoes on it. Remember some persons have no leg to put a shoe on!

In life, never trivialize your blessings, never allow the blessings of another man make you look down on your own blessings. In whatever situation you find yourself, be extremely grateful because it could have been worse than that. Good morning
