THE VOICE OF ORDINARY NIGERIANS

Presented by Michael Saga

STOP AND THINK!

The world is changing rapidly. Countries are developing new technologies, building industries, improving education, creating jobs and finding better ways to improve the lives of their people.

But here is a question every Nigerian should consider:

THE WORLD IS MOVING FORWARD. WHERE IS NIGERIA?

Today, artificial intelligence is transforming businesses. Modern factories are producing goods faster. Other countries are investing in research, electricity, transportation, agriculture and technology.

Young people around the world are creating businesses, developing new products and competing in international markets.

But what is happening in Nigeria?

Why are businesses still struggling with electricity costs? Why do manufacturers face difficulties producing goods locally? Why do many young people have to leave the country to find better opportunities?

Nigeria has talented people, natural resources and a large population. We have intelligent graduates, skilled workers, creative entrepreneurs and people with the ability to compete internationally.

So, what is holding us back?

Is it leadership? Poor infrastructure? Inconsistent policies? Corruption? Lack of investment? Or a combination of these problems?

We must also examine ourselves as citizens. Are we supporting locally made products? Are we encouraging innovation? Are we demanding accountability and responsible leadership?

This conversation is not about insulting Nigeria. It is about asking difficult questions because we want our country to improve.

NOW, WE WANT TO HEAR YOUR VOICE.

1. Which country do you believe is making progress in an area where Nigeria is falling behind? What can we learn from that country?

2. What is the biggest obstacle preventing Nigeria from developing faster?

3. If you had the opportunity to change one thing in Nigeria today, what would you change first?

4. What should Nigeria prioritise: electricity, education, technology, manufacturing, security or job creation? Why?

5. Do you believe Nigeria can compete with developed countries within the next twenty years? What must happen to make that possible?

We welcome Nigerians at home and abroad, other Africans and people from every country to join this discussion.

Share your experiences, provide evidence where possible and suggest practical solutions. Respect different opinions. We are here to learn from one another.

Throughout November, we are collecting real experiences, important questions and suggestions. In December, we will examine the proposed solutions. In January, we will develop more practical proposals.

The future of Nigeria should not be discussed only by those in positions of power. Ordinary people must also have a voice.

A country cannot move forward if it refuses to confront the problems holding it back.

Let us speak peacefully. Let us think critically. Let us search for solutions.

This is THE VOICE OF ORDINARY NIGERIANS.

I am Michael Saga, and I proudly present this platform.

Thank you for listening. Until our next discussion, remember: our voices matter, and our future deserves serious attention.
