In the video, Korra Obidi appeared shocked after her daughter, Athena, referred to her father as a “bad person.”

Korra questioned her daughter, asking if she had ever told her that her father was a bad person and why she would say such a thing. She then prayed over her daughter, saying, “I cover you in the blood of Jesus.”

Nigerian comedian AY Makun has revealed why he stopped attending church for a period, saying it was not because he had lost his faith in God but because he was going through a personal season after negative stories about him circulated online.

According to AY, he became uncomfortable with the possibility of being judged or subjected to whispers whenever he walked into church, choosing instead to worship online occasionally. He later attended another church where he said he felt welcomed and believed he had found a place to call home.

However, he said he was later removed from an upcoming programme after concerns were raised about the public perception surrounding him. The experience left him questioning whether public opinion had become more important than a person's relationship with God.

AY said he was not attacking pastors or asking people to disregard whatever they believed about him, but questioned whether the church should not be a place where people can find truth, grace and restoration regardless of what they are facing.

“I still believe in Jesus Christ as a Christian,” he said, before referencing Matthew 11:28 and asking: “Who is the church really for?”

Justice Jude Obiora of an Awka High Court today July 17 sentenced a high-profile fake native doctor, Onyebuchi Okocha, aka Onyeze Jesus, to six years imprisonment with a N20 million fine.

Onyeze Jesus which translates to ‘Jesus the King’ has been in detention for about a year and six months following charges of enriching people through supernatural means and money doubling, which contravenes Section 18 of the Anambra state Homeland Laws .

He faced three-count charges of propagating money-making through supernatural means on his Social Media handles as well as running an Oke- Ite spiritual practices and also money doubling.

Delivering his judgement, Justice Obiora dismissed the second and third charges but upheld the first count charge.

According to the judge, Onyeze Jesus admitted being the person in the viral videos and ownership of the Social Media handles as well as voicing and propagating the act of making money through supernatural means rather than through known lawful means of acquiring wealth.

Hon Justice Obiora ruled that the allegations of ritual m#rder or money doubling could not be proven as there were neither any proof nor persons that testified to have benefited from the practices.

As the judge handed down the sentence, the accused broke down in tears kneeling at the witness box, pleading that the Court should tamper justice with mercy.

“My Lord please tamper justice with mercy because this is my first offence and this is the first time that I am having a court case. Since February last year that I was arrested and have been in custody, I do not know the whereabout of my wife and my twin children who depend on me as the breadwinner. Also since I have been in custody three widows who depend on me have all d!ed due to the fact that there is no one taking care of them” he cried

Terrorists said Mr Michael Oyedokun disobeyed them, they said he died because he disobeyed their order. That day when we reached the forest, they told us to drop all our phones, we did so but we didn't know that Mr Michael Oyedokun didn't dropped his own. A terrorist who was sitting with him on the motorcycle discovered a phone in his pocket and he began to question him, the teacher said he did hear when they said that, immediately the terrorist slapped him and when their commander heard, he took it up and he was furious.

They have two commanders, a General commander and a camp commander. The General commander said; If I didn't k*ll anyone...I must k*ll this man for disobeying my order.

The following day, Mr Michael Oyedokun was s*aughtered. He was shouting as they were dragging him away, he was begging and his noise was so loud but later...no more noice.

One terrorist in his age of 17 or 18 came later, he was dancing and singing to celebrate the ***** of the teacher.

Mr. John Olaleye was m*rdered on June 7, they k*lled him because they said they have warned that military men should not move closer.

They didn't k*lled them in our presence, they came to take them away and go to another place to carry out that **** act. We were only hearing their noises.

They have a tent where they kept us, we were chained and they handcuff our hand for the whole 56 days. They blindfolded our eyes and anytime we wanted to pee or defecate, we would beg them.

They changed locations, we didn't stay in one place through out the 56 days. Sometimes, they would hit us with a gun. We used to suffer for any crime those little children committed.

When it's time for them to pray, they didn't joke with it. They prayed alot and recited Quran. They would never miss their prayers and when it's time to recite Quran, they would never miss it.

The terrorists said they didn't want money but they wanted their people who were arrested to be freed, that was their demand. We men suffered alot, they should not see us praying, anytime they noticed we were praying...they would beat hell out of us. They said they didn't want us to pray or call Jesus.

When he was asked how they were saved. He said that the terrorists willingly released them. They asked us to go that day because military have abducted their families, they told us to go willingly so that their families could be released as well.

When we were released, they told us the way to pass and they told us we will see two streams on the way. After those two streams, you will see the solders who are there to receive you, they told us.

I was the one carrying everyone when we reached the streams, I carried almost those little children because most of them were already weak. After a short trek, we saw some security men who have been waiting to receive us.

It was a bitter experience, they gave us majorly rice and red oil, no pepper and sometimes it would be only rice without salt or red oil.

There was a time they k*lled a deer and a grasscutter for us. Since the day they have eliminated Mr John Olaleye, they have changed to us, they started treating us well, they changed their cruelty ways of dealing with us. They changed when they heard that some of their family members have been abducted by the solders.

The day we would be released, they asked us if we would take out bath but we said no, we were eager to live the forest. They told us to get ready that we would go home that day.

When we reached Ibadan, one of the military commanders asked me if I could identify the terrorists if I see them on phone. He showed me their pictures and I could identify one. They told us they have arrested 8 of the terrorists and others have been nutrilized.

We thank God that we survived but we are not happy that Mr Michael Oyedokun and Mr John Olaleye could not come back.

A thief sneaked into a house at midnight.

He whispered, "Perfect. Everyone is asleep."

Suddenly, a voice said, "Jesus is watching you."

The thief froze.

He looked around.

Nothing.

He continued stuffing valuables into his bag.

Again the voice whispered, "Jesus is watching you."

Sweating, the thief switched on his flashlight.

In the corner sat a colorful parrot.

The thief sighed in relief.

"So it was you! What's your name?"

The parrot proudly replied, "Moses."

The thief burst out laughing.

"What kind of person names a parrot Moses?"

The parrot tilted its head.

"The same kind of person who names their Rottweiler... Jesus."

A deep growl echoed from behind him.

The thief slowly turned around.

The last thing he stole that night...
