  • Let me tell you something about unconditional love that most people misunderstand ๐Ÿ‘‡

Loving someone unconditionally does not mean you accept their bad behavior. It does not mean you stay in a toxic situation. It does not mean you love them at the expense of yourself. Unconditional love means you love the person without conditions but you can still have boundaries about how you allow that love to be expressed and received. You can love someone deeply and still walk away from a situation that is destroying you. You can love someone completely and still protect your peace. Real unconditional love starts with loving yourself enough to know the difference. Are you loving others at the expense of yourself? ๐Ÿ‘‡

  • “What’s my sin?” — TV host Morayo Afolabi-Brown reacts after caller c¥rses her over questions asked during interview

TV host Morayo Afolabi-Brown has spoken out after revealing that she received a phone call from someone who rained c¥rses on her over questions she asked a guest during one of her interviews.

In a video, Morayo said she was shocked by the incident, stressing that asking questions is simply part of her job. She noted that she has spent over two decades in the media and has earned the right to interview guests professionally.

According to her, she always respects the boundaries set by her guests, with some choosing the topics they are comfortable discussing beforehand. She added that her show is meant to spread love and meaningful conversations, not to attack or embarrass anyone.

Morayo concluded by saying people are free to disagree with her questions, but c¥rsing her for doing her job is both unfair and unfortunate.

  • ‘If you can't discipline your child, don't bring them to public places’ — Lady criticises ‘gentle parenting’

A Nigerian lady has sparked debate online after expressing her frustration with what she described as poor parenting disguised as "gentle parenting."

In a video, she argued that many parents excuse bad behaviour instead of correcting their children, leaving others to deal with the consequences in public.

According to her, children who are old enough to understand instructions should be taught to sit still, greet elders, respect boundaries and obey simple corrections.

She went on to describe such children as “untrained” and said parents should stop bringing them to social gatherings if they cannot control their behaviour.

Sharing a personal experience, she recalled being at a salon when another customer's child repeatedly touched her phone while the mother allegedly did nothing to stop the behaviour.

The lady also praised her two-year-old neighbour, saying the child already greets adults respectfully and even kneels to greet, which she believes shows that good manners can be taught from an early age.

  • Relationships thrive on trust, respect, and communication. But just as there are things you should do to strengthen them, there are also pitfalls to avoid. Here are five common mistakes that can quietly erode love and connection:

    1. Neglect Communication

Silence can be more damaging than arguments. Avoid shutting down or refusing to talk about issues. Healthy communication means expressing feelings honestly and listening actively, even when it’s uncomfortable.

    2. Take Your Partner for Granted

Routine can make us forget to show appreciation. Small gestures like saying thank you, noticing their efforts, or offering affection go a long way. Assuming your partner will “just know” how much you care is a dangerous trap.

    3. Ignore Boundaries

Every person has emotional, physical, and personal boundaries. Disregarding them whether it’s invading privacy, dismissing feelings, or pushing limits creates resentment. Respecting boundaries shows love and maturity.

    4. Hold Grudges

Mistakes happen, but clinging to past wrongs poisons the present. Forgiveness doesn’t mean forgetting, but it does mean choosing not to weaponize old issues in new conflicts.

    5. Avoid Growth

Relationships evolve, and so do people. Refusing to grow whether emotionally, mentally, or in shared goals can leave the relationship stagnant. Supporting each other’s growth keeps the bond alive and dynamic.

A strong relationship isn’t about perfection; it’s about learning, adapting, and choosing each other every day.

  • My husband earns around 800k every month. Out of that, he gives me 200k for feeding and running the house, 60k for the children’s school needs, and another 100k for light bills, medicine, and little unexpected expenses. In total, about 360k comes into the home monthly, while he keeps the rest.

Recently, I became curious about our finances and asked him how much he had saved over the years, but he avoided the conversation. Later, I checked and discovered he had about 14M saved. Honestly, after more than three years of work and all the sacrifices we’ve made as a family, I expected it to be much more.

What confused me most is that my husband is not someone who spends recklessly. He eats at home most of the time, only buys lunch occasionally at work, and aside from helping family members once in a while and paying the children’s school fees, there’s nothing extravagant he does.

When I asked him calmly to explain how the savings were only 14M, the conversation turned into an argument. Instead of answering me, he started bringing up my own salary and asking whether he had ever questioned the money in my account. Since then, the house has been tense and silent.

This morning, he even said if I’m unhappy, I’m free to leave the marriage because he will never discuss his money with me.

Now I’m honestly confused. Is it wrong for a wife to want transparency about the future of her family? Or did I overstep boundaries by checking his account and questioning his savings?
