Why is it that when God starts blessing us, it is those that have been with us when we had nothing we start looking down on?
Why is it that when our level changes, we start dissociating, discriminating and disdaining those we were on the same level with not too long ago?
Why is it that those that stood by us, those that supported us, those that believed in us, those that encouraged us, those that refused to give up on us and those that contributed to us the little way they could, are still those we value less and we see as useless to us, the moment we start to experience God's blessings upon our lives?
I have seen a wife outrightly disrespecting the same husband that gave her the connection which got her a lucrative job.
I have seen a husband abusing and battering the same wife that sold her inheritance in order to raise the capital he used to start the business that made him rich.
I have seen two best friends living in a shantytown, dwelling in a dilapidated house, struggling to eke out a living, but supporting each other. The moment one of them became blessed, he or she started maltreating and mistreating the other - telling other people that his or her friend, 'is a lazy man/woman'.
Why is it that those that can take a bullet for us, are the same people we are ready to pull a trigger on? Why is it that those that are always ready to cover our nakedness, are the same people we are publicly proud to make unclad in public?
Why do we associate more with those who disassociated themselves from us when we had nothing? Why do we also disassociate from those who associated themselves with us when we had nothing?
Both of you were nobodies, but when God made you a somebody, you started calling your husband, your brother or your best friend a nobody in front of everybody! Why? I ask myself why?Then I realized that life is not logical, life is not rational, life is not emotional, life is canal. Good evening
