Part 2: The Man Who Fixed Things That Weren't Broken

Dinner revealed the full, considerably longer list Theo had been quietly maintaining in his head the shop's uneven front step, a loose shelf bracket in the cooler, and, most alarmingly, an electrical outlet he'd apparently rewired "just to be safe" without mentioning it at all.

"You rewired my outlet without telling me," Odalys said, half amused, half genuinely concerned. "That feels like it crosses several boundaries at once."

"It was a fire hazard," Theo said, wincing. "I know how that sounds. I promise I'm not usually this compulsive about other people's property. There's just something about your shop specifically that I couldn't leave alone."

"The shop, or the owner?" Odalys asked, smiling.

"Increasingly, both," Theo admitted. "Though I'll cop to the owner being the primary motivation these past several weeks."

"I appreciate the honesty," Odalys said. "Though going forward, please just tell me before rewiring anything electrical. I'd like some warning before discovering my shop has been quietly, thoroughly renovated by a man I'm dating."

"Deal," Theo said. "Full disclosure on all future repairs, solicited or otherwise."

Their relationship developed steadily over the following months, Theo's compulsive need to fix things gradually channeling into more appropriate, mutually agreed-upon projects properly renovating her shop's cramped storage room, building custom shelving for her expanding inventory, always asking first now rather than simply appearing with tools and good intentions.

"I have to ask," Odalys said one evening, watching him carefully sand a new display counter he'd built for her, "where does this come from? The compulsive fixing, I mean."

Theo considered the question seriously. "My father was a contractor too. Taught me everything I know. He always said noticing what's broken and refusing to ignore it was basically a moral obligation, not just a professional skill. I think somewhere along the way, that lesson expanded considerably beyond just structural repairs."

"Into emotional repairs too?" Odalys asked gently.

"Probably," Theo admitted. "I've always had trouble watching people, or things, stay broken when I know I could help. Even when it's not strictly my place to intervene."

"I don't mind it, generally," Odalys said. "Though I appreciate you asking first now, rather than surprising me with rewired outlets."

"Growth," Theo said, grinning. "Slow, occasionally overstepping growth, but growth nonetheless."

Part 4 (Final): The Florist Who Delivered to the Wrong Grave

Theodore visited the flower shop the following week, exactly as he'd done regularly over recent months, though this time Amara found herself considerably more attentive to his presence, Rosalind's earlier observation lingering pleasantly in her thoughts.

"My grandmother mentioned you attended Roland and Genevieve's reburial," Theodore said, genuine warmth evident in his easy smile. "She spoke rather highly of your kindness and curiosity throughout the entire situation."

"It was a genuinely moving experience," Amara admitted. "I'm honored she trusted me enough to properly share such a personal, significant story."

"She mentioned something else too," Theodore said, visible nervousness entering his expression despite his usual easy confidence. "That perhaps I should finally work up proper courage to ask you to dinner, rather than simply finding excuses to visit your shop regularly."

Amara felt warmth spreading through her chest, genuine delight at his sincere, endearing admission. "I'd like that very much, actually. Though I confess, I'd already begun suspecting your visits carried motivations beyond simply purchasing flowers."

Theodore laughed warmly, visible relief evident in his expression. "I suppose four months of suspiciously frequent flower purchases might have given away my genuine intentions rather obviously."

Their relationship developed steadily over the following months, built genuinely on shared appreciation for meaningful histories, compassionate curiosity, and authentic, growing affection. Rosalind, delighted by the unexpected romantic development emerging from her own long-awaited reunion with her brother's memory, became an enthusiastic, genuinely supportive presence throughout their courtship.

"I never anticipated," Rosalind said, watching Amara and Theodore together during a family gathering nearly a year later, "that finally honoring Roland's wish might also lead toward such genuine happiness for my own grandson."

A year after their initial meeting, Theodore proposed to Amara in the flower shop itself, surrounded by the very blooms that had originally connected their families through Rosalind's devoted, decades-long secret.

"You taught me," Theodore said, kneeling carefully amid countless fresh arrangements, "that genuine love deserves proper acknowledgment, regardless of how long circumstances might delay it. I don't want to wait any longer to properly commit myself to you, Amara. Will you marry me?"

"Yes," Amara said immediately, joyful tears mixing with genuine, complete happiness. "Completely, genuinely, without a single moment of hesitation."

As they celebrated their engagement together, Rosalind present among their closest, gathered loved ones, Amara understood profoundly that sometimes the most meaningful discoveries emerge precisely from properly honoring history's forgotten stories compassionate curiosity opening doors not just toward healing generations-old wounds, but also toward genuine, unexpected new beginnings for those brave enough to properly investigate and honor the truth.

They married that following spring, exchanging vows surrounded by fresh flowers reminiscent of four years of faithful, devoted deliveries that had originally, unexpectedly connected their entire story together.

Achieve Your Dreams — Because Nobody Is Coming To Save You.

    Only God Guides.

    A — Pain as Knowledge

Don’t regret the person who hurt you today. They are the pain, the knowledge, the experience, and the motivation pushing you toward your goals and dreams. When you are hurt, try to feel happy — ask why it happened, and use that lesson to grow.

    B — Hard Lessons

The sad truth is many young people don’t understand financial problems until they learn the hard way. Repeating the same mistakes year after year without questioning themselves keeps them trapped. Sometimes God lets you face challenges longer, just to change your mindset toward a positive circle and rich mentality.

    C — Environment Matters

A poor mentality environment cannot elevate you.It makes you think small, local, and poor.Your chance of success might be just one step away — through financial communication, relationships, or traveling to explore your skills.

    D — Wrong Circles

Not everyone thinks like the rich-minded.Many suffer because of wrong locations, wrong circles, and chasing freedom only to impress people who don’t care. People value only what they benefit from. Some will use you as a vessel to escape their own financial needs.

E — Rich Thinking vs Survival Hustle

When you think rich, you buy in bulk, settle essentials long-term, and free yourself to focus on upgrading skills and investments. Survival hustling without thinking keeps you stuck. Investment hustling builds your future.

    F — Integrity and Authenticity

Some became heartless because they helped others and were forgotten. But authenticity is you — don’t overshare your success story. Instead, update your skills and remember: we hustle for our children, not for pleasures or to please everyone.

    G — Humanity Over Wealth

Most people can survive without you, but don’t go cold when you’re in a position to help. Even a little help matters — because without human beings, cash has no value. We are not created to chase wealth alone. That’s what destroys most people.

H — Hustle, Gratitude, and Stewardship

Schools taught us how to read, but not how to manage money. Teach children financial responsibility early — because legacy is not wealth alone, it is wisdom passed down.Real strength is not controlling others, but having the discipline to control yourself. Learn to apologize, accept correction, ask questions, and admit when you are wrong. Surround yourself with friends who challenge you to grow.

📍 Say after me: “I will take control of my life.”

    I — Victory Speaks Loudest

Most people don’t care about your problems — until you win. That’s why you must keep pushing, keep hustling, and keep building. Your victory is the only language the world respects.

Part 2: The Curator Who Cataloged a Killer's Confession

Callan moved immediately, dispatching a forensic team to the location detailed in Bertram's chilling confession an abandoned property he'd once owned on the outskirts of town, sold decades earlier under circumstances that had never previously seemed suspicious.

"Nineteen years," Callan said grimly, reviewing the confession's disturbing details once more. "He hid her so carefully, we never had reason to properly search that specific property."

Ines felt overwhelming, complicated emotion processing the discovery relief that Marisol's family might finally receive answers, mixed with profound horror at having unknowingly spent years cataloging a murderer's private collection.

"Why would he write a confession at all," she asked, "if he intended it to remain permanently hidden?"

Callan considered the question thoughtfully. "Some killers experience genuine guilt, even while remaining unable to properly confess publicly. Perhaps writing it down, sealing it away, represented some private, twisted attempt at partial atonement, without actually facing legal consequence."

The forensic search confirmed Bertram's confession within days, Marisol's remains finally recovered after nineteen years of agonizing uncertainty for her grieving family. The case, long considered permanently unsolvable, finally reached proper, if devastatingly delayed, resolution.

"Her mother is still alive," Callan told Ines, several days after the recovery. "Eighty-three years old, still living locally. I'm meeting with her this afternoon to properly explain everything we've discovered."

"Could I come with you?" Ines asked. "I feel like I owe her some explanation, given my role in uncovering this."

Callan considered the request, recognizing genuine, compassionate motivation behind it. "I think she'd appreciate that, actually."

Marisol's mother, Adelina, received the devastating but long-awaited news with complicated grief and profound relief intertwined. "Nineteen years," she said quietly, studying old photographs of her daughter scattered across her modest living room. "I always believed, somehow, she was still out there. Foolish hope, perhaps, but it's what allowed me to properly continue living."

"I'm deeply sorry," Ines said sincerely. "I wish I could have discovered this sooner."

Adelina studied her carefully, genuine gratitude evident despite obvious grief. "You discovered it at all, dear. That's considerably more than nineteen years of official investigation ever properly managed. Thank you, truly, for finally bringing my daughter home."

As they left Adelina's home that evening, Callan turned to Ines with quiet, genuine admiration evident in his tired expression. "You handled that with remarkable compassion. Most people wouldn't have thought to accompany me at all, let alone offer genuine comfort during something so devastating."

"I couldn't simply walk away," Ines said honestly. "Not after everything we've uncovered together."

‘Get away with that rubbish motivation’ — Davido slams Nigerian rapper, Erigga over comments about musicians from wealthy families

Nigerian music star Davido has fired back at rapper Erigga following a post celebrating musicians who came from poor backgrounds and had to work their way to success.

Erigga had written, “Shoutout to all the musicians who don't come from family money and had to grind for every single dollar they earn.”

Davido, who has often faced criticism and conversations surrounding his wealthy family background, reacted strongly to the post.

“No be we say make your pops no guard o. Shoutout to the ones that came from family money and still grind to the top, imbecile,” Davido wrote.

He followed it up with another post, saying, “Comot here with that your useless motivation.”

The singer also questioned why anyone would prefer poverty, writing, “Deep down who like poverty?”

Davido later shared another post in which he appeared to dismiss the ongoing conversations around his music and wealth.

“No worry o I go soon leave their music for una. GO MAKE MY BILLIONS... then that **** gonna be boring.”

“If I want to marry any man in Nigeria now, it won’t take me more than two weeks for us to have our wedding because many are looking for opportunities to travel abroad” — UK-based Nigerian lady says

A UK-based Nigerian woman has shared her opinion on marriage and the motivations of some Nigerians seeking partners abroad.

She claimed that if she wanted to marry a man in Nigeria, she could get married within two weeks because, according to her, many men are interested in relationships that could provide them with opportunities to travel abroad.

“Some might be genuine, some might not. So, I’d rather marry a cleaner in the UK than marry a banker in Nigeria,” she said.

People doubt me when I fail at something for a long time. Take for example my friend. He has known me since last year and watched me fail at many things.

Recently each time I'm excited about a new idea he mocks me that I'll fail because of the others. But before he was routing for me ooo, now that he has seen me he keeps doubting me when I do something.

Take for instance this app. When I first told him about this app when I downloaded it, he was discouraging me asking me how sure I am about it that I rush into things without knowing it. I told him I know about it because I spent some hours going through it.

I told him to just give me one week, he will see wonders. It's not even up to a week and you've started seeing wonders abi? No worry. I've not even started.

The kind of life I was living before, if people doubt me or discourage me because of my failures I'll start feeling bad. "Oh, why don't they believe in me 😥"

I don't do that anymore. Ehn? For 2026? You know how I live my life now? I want people to doubt me. Yes!!! Please, doubt me.

It is now a source of motivation to me. The more they doubt me, the more it motivates me to do great things. I'm a victim of my own success.

I don't need to prove myself. Let me just be shocking people. They will be like "ah, so this guy could accomplish something like this? 🤔😮"

They will be astonished by my accomplishments.

Please, let everybody doubt me, please. Let everybody not believe in me. No, just give up on me. Remind me of my failures, tell me what I did wrong 5 years ago.

Please doubt me, I am begging you!! 🤲🙇🏼
